not sure if uncompressed or compressed :s

which do you advise, pros and cons?

im guessing uncompressed..more HDD speed and space usage..less fps hog.

 

Compressed means it's a lesser quality. Uncompressed is lossless. That uses more GPU though.

 

I recommend capping at 30. That'll force your FPS to 30 as well.

strange enough, fraps steals 2-3fps on fsx, while afterburner (capped to 30) yoinks me 10fps's

What quality are you capturing on? I'd recommend 720p at the highest.

That may be why. What GPU do you have?

 

& FSX unfortunately isn't the most optimised game for using all your hardware correctly.

Shift 2 looks great, too bad it handles like crap. pCARS really shows what SMS is capable of doing when they don't have EA, recently voted as the worst company in the US, bouncing them around :p

Santtu, I have a little advice: Download the latest Unofficial Community Patch and PTMu 1.69. I play on keyboard and I must say that cars drive very good. There is no floating, jumping and so on. Those two mods changed the game. Really. ;)

I do not get what you're trying to say :hmmm: If you mean the one with the HUD and stuff, it's just to show that the game looks good when playing aswell :p
