Hi everyone - just signed up here.

I haven't had any probs with the damage mod - and it would be a real shame if it did result in banning? By account banning you mean that one account is stuffed so you just create a new one in TDU? How many people got banned - because I still want to use it.

Granted it works like a trainer - but it has the complete opposite purpose of a normal trainer. No advantages - just the opposite. All it does is change engine sounds when you crash a bit, and it turns off your engine and prevents you from starting your engine when you crash at high impact.

You also have more realistic (harder) handling and grip off road. If you drop the clutch (G25 owners) and floor it - you'll find your back wheels spinning but not going very far.

Other than that good topic. You don't really need separate walthroughs for XP/Vista - I have Vista and it's exactly the same method.

Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some good weather mods that you can post here too some time in the future.

I have added some more warning signs on this. Especially aroudn the Damage Mod, as I was PM'ed by an Official Forum Mod, and told that the Damage Mod could [not definate] be picked up by TDU Anti-Cheat Detection.
That's a given mate, basically the general consensus is it's recommended to use them offline as going online could result in your online features being reduced (trade for example) or at worse, a total banning via IP.

Hey I just had a go at rim replacing, and noticed a few folders marked Brabus, Citroen, and Mazda. These aren't cars you can find in the game right?

Anyway, I tried putting one of the Brabus rims on my Ascari, and this is what happened:

Anyone can explain why this is so, and if it's not too much trouble, help me see which rims are switchable or not?

Randy, try the other Brabus rims, they work. It's only one that doesn't

Anyway, in the Chevrolet folder I found a file called Corv_71. It's a bigger file than the Corv_69, so it doesn't fit on that, but I put them on the Camaro. They're much like the '69 'Vette's wheels, but the holes are modeled in, instead of just painted on.

They're staying on my Camaro.:D

Here's the '69 'Vette with the wheels from the Mclaren F1 GT (or LM) I can't remember, lol.

I actually have the same wheels on my XJ220 too.

I used to have Eleanor rims (AC 427) but I got bored of them. :p

This is what I have now. Ford Must_GT_F_02

Also, for some strange reason the Aston V8 Vantage uses file number 2. File number 1 for the V8 Vantage fits on the DB9 nicely.

See, I was thinking t'other day (and that reminded me, good find Matt!) seeing as we can't put new cars in game, could we 'update' cars? You know, like put in the new TT, or the new XKR, assuming the file sizes don't get bigger?

I mean, I'm not expert on 3D graphics, and I don't know how any of that works... it was a thought...

No, what I meant is even if you have the .bnk files, for say, a Veyron, you can't put it in game without replacing something else as no one has worked out how to code the game yet.

Therefore it'd be a bit pointless driving summat that looks like a Veyron but without the performance. Unlike just updating the older cars, which would have similar performance specs.

Well driving something which looks like a veyron would be much more of an improvment to driving something similar to a TT. You could just put the veyron in instead of a saleen. That probably has similar handling (dont flame me for this :p) And anyway, Id never take the veyron above 3rd gear anyway :p

But yeah, I see what you mean :( Howe Hum :(
