Who uses IE7?

Quick question, I hate IE7 with a passion but when testing earlier on for the Gaming Rig specs I had it open to check it was working within it and I have just updated the header to have the POTW Week #9 winner and I've noticed something strange about the Navigation, has it always been that way?

You mean this miss-aligned header? Yes it has, when I use IE7 on my mum's laptop.

 

It also doesn't look correct in EI6 either.

 

I also tried BT Internet Browser, and that displays it wrong.

 

Opera 9.25 Browser does display it correctly.

Opera and Firefox know how to display and render CSS properly, I mean how long does it take IE to show this forum due to it loading all the containers first rather than the content. Ridiculous, but that's annoying me now and I'm surprised noone mentioned it.

BTW Iced only the Processor needs to be filled in to get the list to show. ;)

I do, I think Firefox stinks. I heard its more for the slower PC's. Everything works better for me. I just hate Firefox. The buttons on the top were always like that for some reason.

The Search icon is now 2 px lower than the rest of the icons (in FF) - just to let you know Diablo

the Search bar is suppose to be inline with the other tabs, but as Diablo is playing around with the code [i'm guessing], it's not lined up as per normal.

I haven't used IE for about a year, It sucks who ever uses are bound to get issues.

uhh yeah, Diablo don't use IE. Just use Firefox or something more useful to your needs.

All working now. i use IE7 and hate Firefox becouse it dosn't understand a lot of stuff when doing websites. Things like a span and all that, can't use them normally and if you can it comes up as a compleatly different size to what it should be, hate it lol.

Pherelas if Firefox shows it wrong then sorry to say mate it's you that has it wrong, IE has always been the bane of web developers lives. Firefox and Opera are the most standard compliant browsers available and I have a link for you:

Not to mention the addons such as the Web Developer toolbar as well as HTML validators and cleanup tools. No web developer would ever admit that IE is better than Firefox, it just doesn't happen. :oook: :p ;)

 

Example being the problem in this thread, Opera and Firefox show up fine as it is but for IE even IE7 I have to use some code that only IE can see in order to use different settings to make it work like it should have.
