Saw a R34 Skyline GT-T in Dundee today! Nice to see a 34 shape, and nice to see one that diddent have the GTR parts thrown onto it!

On the other end of the scale, saw a Datsun 260Z on the way back to Aberdeen! Rare to see one, rarer to see one on the go!

Was it a grey one outside a car garage in the south of the city?

If so, it belongs to a friends uncle.

Yeah, taxes are extreme here, and (Im not sure, but i think) we are the only country in the world to have taxes based on how big the engine is..

We could sell our 3 year old Lexus IS 220d and buy a new ISF in USA  Kinda funny..

It's like that in HK as well. 115% tax for everything over 3 litres or something.

Over here we pay tax (stamp duty) when buying any vehicle (+ 2nd hand) of $8 for every $200 of the car sale price (of course 2nd-hand car sales report a smaller amount when transferring the registration to reduce this tax). New cars over $55,000 (or thereabouts) also attract a Luxury Car Tax.

You must have a lot of super rich people in Hong Kong then...

Considering that there are at least 6 Zondas here, yes. There was a F Coupé for sale a while back for 14m HKD (~1.8m USD). The 458's base price after tax here is 3.5m HKD (~450k USD)

It's all based on emissions here now, but cars that were made before that law came in are still subject to the old tax, I spoke to someone who drives a late version of the old shape ford ka and they pay more tax than I do for my Focus :D

God I'm gonna hate tax when I buy a Civic Type R though...
