I was on ign earlier (haven't been on there for ages) and I found a game called APB ... from the guy who brought us Lemmings, Grand Theft Auto and Crackdown.

It's an MMO where you become either a criminal or a cop ... sounds really interesting, I like the idea of not haveing player levelling as such but instead you get more personalisation of the character

just have to wait and see what the gameplay looks like!

WOW, that looks the nuts, the images they have of it look imense just by the detail in the tattoo's and what looks like a car customisation screen.

It seems like they have taken the gang side of GTA/Getaway and the Law enforcement side from True Crime and put them into one game.

Thanks for the Info Hybrid

For about 6 years they've been saying it's coming out soon, i wouldn't trust 'em if i were you. It does look brilliant though, i can't remember when i found out about it but it was a long time ago.

hell, i'm in!

the game does looks the dog's nuts, and playing as a cop has a strange kind of cool to it 8)

thinking of it, do you guys think it would be cool if atari released a final carpack, that unlocked the cop cars you find in offline, to be driven by yourself online?

That'd be good, it would get many more people back into this game.

Sorry to bring up this old thread, just thought I'd let you guys know that APB has been pushed back to a 2009 release :(

Source.

Not suprising really as GTA will probably dominate this year so its a wise move tbh
