HOW TO...

 

I've uploaded the whole bnk files so if you dont know how bnk unpaker works you just download and replace...

- Comon_car.bnk is in: ...\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules ( To change the tires)

 

- Viper_Cpe.bnk ( for the exterior mod) and Viper_Cpe_I.bnk( for the interior mod) are in: ...Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules

 

- To change the rims, also replace files in ...\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules\Rim\Dodge ( Viper_Cpe_F_01.bnk) to have the blue edonis rims in your viper coupe.

Hope that all is clear and easy doing...

 

If anyone wants to mod only a thing in particular of the viper tell me and I leave you feedback on how to do...for those who now how bnk unpacker works do a little hardwork and just replace files, but ifdont know wich file to replace just ask me...

 

Hope you all like it or help me improve with your thoughts...big community in here, I really like it...

Nice, but can you somehow center the GT3 sign at the back? And is it possible to put GT3 or anything on the side? If it is, you could make an awesome GT3RS :D. Nice work anyway though!

man, no offense but it doesnt look good, I dont mean by your work, Im talking about the colors, blue and orange? yuck!!! Well that is my opinion but your work looks great and all, nice skillz with the mods, but why dont you try white and blue, yellow and black with some yellow parts in the interior, dont paint the rims and dont paint the tailights/headlights any color but the original or black/silver. Once again no offense, and many ppl may think Im wrong but its just a comment, continue the hard work.

Yes the colours may not be the best choice...Im now working on the dino so when I finish it ill be back with the the viper to change color and get people impresions...

You don't use the RT12 for the GT3 RS. You use the RGT, with the sidewriting already, and the carbon-fiber spoiler. This one looks nice though!

New Colors For Viper---new Rims

 

Well, following your advices and comments I've made another mod of the viper, this time black color and orange stripes, no interior mod but the velocimeters (keep blue).

 

I've you like them I'll leave the link, they are not uploaded yet, because I need a bit of help from any of you...

 

Below are the pics of this new mod, but I have some problems with the corvete71 rims, I think they just look wonderfull...but...the break part in red literally eats the rim...any idea to solve the problem ( any help to remove that part or maybe someone that knows where could I find the bnk for that piece would be great)...?:eek:

 

The rim in white is from the mercedes AMG...the first black is the cobalt f01 file and the last one is from the 69's corvette.

Color looks sweet but the rims... nah. Btw why are you doing color mods? Cant you paint the viper any color you want at the paint shop? (tip: Darken orange on the stripes a bit)

Well, I've searched a little in the bnk files, and like I saw the brake pieces are in the common_car.bnk and its hard to try modify anything...

 

I've tried out plenty of rims, nearly 15 and waste a lot of time but at the end I have one rims I think almost of you would like...they are from the ford shelby, I've given them a blueyi-black color and think it suits well the viper...what u think??:excited:

NEW GAUGES

 

To finish the mod I've moded the gauges and turn them to orange...they have a little effect along the lines in the rpm and the speed indicators...I've painted the icons in red and redrawn their shapes as well as many numbers to give the gauges more impact...hope you like them.

 

I'm leaving the links of the new mod...and the new rims...(just try out, if you want,dodge charger super bee rims or the ones of the F40, I think they looks pretty good...I think all rims with similar shape as the ones of the Corvette 69 suits really really well this cars because of it shape)

I dont seem to understand you...but...I think I catch what you are meaning...

 

The car is already painted in the paintshop...but only the car body...but I've modified a file in the bnk to have those stripes in orange color, so I can have a black viper with orange stripes...all the rest:rims,tires,front and tail lights,gauges,details of the car(such as the back...) is the hardwork that cant be done inside the game... ...its now ok?:o
