Kelv, could you share your PP technique for the shot with the planes? It's simply gorgeous.

 

I used a preset in Lightroom (Hanne split-tone), a graduated filter on the sky to lower the exposure and then done some minor level tweaks in photoshop. :)

 

wow that dusk its just stunnning, the airport shot is good as well. Do you edit them right?

That's another Lightroom preset I downloaded called Bad News Bears with a grad filter on the sky to lower the exposure and another on the bottom half of the photo to raise the exposure ;)

 

Here's another shot using the same preset and editing ;)

I went for a sort of pale almost dated look, to suit the car. I think it went alright for a first time mixing and matching filters in Aperture. Looking at the result though makes me realise just how many people on Flickr run each and every one of their photos through a set of filters. I like the effect and that's what it will remain as, an effect. I won't be using it for everything.
