I know im fine with a 9800GTX, 4GB DDR2 RAM but whats the AMD equivalent of the E6600 because i have used intel only once and didn't like them

It will look 10x better on the PC
And so it should but then again can you buy a PC capable of the graphics on either console for the same price as the console itself? Plus Farcry is usually about the multiplayer and the user created maps rather than the story but one thing is for sure, it always looks amazing !

so probably a 5600+ - 6000+ would be it's AMD counterpart.

 

sure AMD clocks are faster, but clock per clock, Intel performs better.

Is that dual core or single core and i will be overclocking it all when i get more and better fans

and this is more appealing to me since you'll only be fighting against humans. i loved far cry but i didn't like fighting trigens (mutated moneky things) half way through the game.
