If you think about it ... you can put popcorn in a microwave, as it uses microwaves ;) The phones use microwaves to transfer information and audio etc, I imagine the combination of the phones makes it great enough to pop the occasional popcorn kernel ... Although, you can use heat to make it too (hence the Duck (!) Popcorn makers)
