That was an epic race! Apart from the fact that Hamilton won, the rain made for a really awesome spectacle! That was probably the most spins I saw in a single race out of all the F1 races I've seen. One question though, what the hell were Ferrari and Renault thinking, putting Kimi and Alonso out without new tires?? Why waste all that time in the pit lane and then waste some more time because you have no grip?

Anyway, poor Coulthard on his last British GP (synchronised spin with that Torro Rosso was quite good), poor Massa for spinning 6 or 7 times (yay), poor Webber for that spin at the start, then storming up everyone else, and then spinning some more, poor Kimi for having the rain come at the wrong time, and poor Adrian Sutil for (VERY luckily) recovering that spin+air, only to beach the car RIGHT at the edge of the gravel trap.

On the other hand, congrats to Rubens for 3rd place in that piece of crap Honda, great driving from Alonso on those worn out tires, and congrats to Heikki for an awesome drift at the start (a proper long slide, not those little wiggles that are the norm in F1).

This race has probably brought one of the biggest smiles to my face for a good long while, great stuff

I missed the first half so decided I wouldn't end up using a P2P software to aquire the race. However was upstairs in my room, about to open iTunes so I couldn't hear the result from downstairs, but. Guess what. I heard the ITV Presenter shout out the winner :( I mean, common, who wants to know :p He should have kept quite xD

Very big congrats to Hamilton, Heidfeld and Barrichello especially. Anyone who doubts the skill of Hamilton is an idiot, even with the same tires as everyone else he was still 4-6 seconds quicker, in fact if he was going the same pace as others like him then Barrichello or Heidfeld may just have caught him and in fact had Barrichello been given the fuel properly he probably would have won which is a massive thing imo. Massa and Raikkonen were spinning like crazy, they don't really have a wet specialist like they had with Schumacher or even Barrichello. Good job also to Toyota, Trulli had a solid run and I felt so sorry for wee Piquet as he had a good strong drive and was doing well.

At the end though you have to give it to Hamilton, the way he celebrated shows he wanted it and appreciated it when he got it, he thanked the team and his family and he showed true fondness and celebration of the win unlike some others who just are dour faced and unhappy no matter what. We have a 3 way tie now for 1st and 2nd is only 2 points behind, this GP was one of the better ones this season and I hope there is many more like it especially with an as varied a podium and point scorers as there was today.

I laugh at Piquet, he's crap. And I laughed at Kimi and Massa.

Felt sorry for Sutil, a mistake but he was going well. :D Barrichello had a excellent drive, and he could have easily won it. The fight with hamilton and Kovalienen at the start was excellent until Kovalienen had to let Hamilton past. =[

For some reason Ferrari doesn't seem to do very well in the rain. Hamilton has one every rain race this season. I think Ferrari has to step up their game in rain races cause Hamilton is just maiking it look easy in the rain. I want some pressure from Ferrari on Hamilton.

I left for camp right when the race started (for some reason, it was shown at 10AM here in the US, but it should have started a long time before that), so I didn't get to watch. If anybody could PM a way to view it, that would be great.

Gratz to Hamilton! I bet he is feeling pretty awesome right now, winning his home GP. Barrichello must feel awesome as well.
