    You cannot update the game via the TDU2 Universal Launcher tool, only with the original game launcher. Atari closed the official game servers lately for ever, I don't know, if also the update servers, but I guess yes. If you didn't update before, you seem to be unlucky.

    Well, I think, there will be nobody stopping you in making such a mod for TDU 2. So feel encouraged to start, bro. But seriously, the TDU 1 fan base is waaaaay bigger than TDU 2s, I think there will never be such a project for TDU 2 like Project Paradise for TDU 1. Anyway who knows, some are working on private online server afaik.
