"The [Assetto Corsa] technology preview will be open to netKar Pro owners as we need to also test the activation method with their paycode and also as a tribute to their support. A proper demo will follow later for everyone else."

We are seeing good momentum with Windows 8 today. When upgrading from Windows 7, Windows 8 has a lot to offer including a beautiful rubbish new Start screen with live tiles, plus the familiar desktop and faster startup and longer battery life. Today I’d like to share the pricing details for the Windows 8 upgrade editions that will begin in February. I’d also remind you to take advantage of the great upgrade offer which lasts until January 31st 2013. Windows 8 upgrade editions will be priced as follows starting in February: The Windows 8 Pro upgrade edition will be available online and at retail for $199.99 MSRP (U.S.). The Windows 8 upgrade edition will be available online and at retail for $119.99 MSRP (U.S.). The Windows 8 Pro Pack will cost $99.99 MSRP (U.S.). The Windows 8 Media Center Pack will cost $9.99 MSRP (U.S.). But we have our promotional offer available until January 31st 2013, you can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just $39.99 ERP* (U.S.) via Windows.com using the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant or pick up a DVD copy at a local retailer for just $69.99 ERP* (U.S.). If you bought an eligible Windows 7 PC between June 2nd and January 31st, 2013 – be sure to register for the Windows Upgrade Offer and upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for only $14.99 ERP*** (U.S.). If you upgrade to the Windows 8 edition or buy a PC with the Windows 8 edition pre-installed and want to move to the Windows 8 Pro edition– you can purchase the Windows 8 Pro Pack (previously known as Windows Anytime Upgrade) directly within Windows 8 by going to the Start screen and typing “Add Features to Windows 8” and at participating retailers for $69.99 MSRP (U.S.) until January 31st. If are running Windows 8 Pro and want Windows Media Center and DVD playback, you can add the Windows 8 Media Center Pack for free until January 31st**. If you are building your own PC from scratch, looking to run Windows 8 in a Virtual Machine (VM), or looking to run Windows 8 on a second hard drive partition – you will want to purchase the Windows 8 edition or Windows 8 Pro edition OEM product known as “System Builder”. You can find these products online at local retailers.

Thinking of getting some stronger engine mounts for my car, but they cost 200 BP plus delivery and no doubt a few hundred more to get them installed. FR3 Engine Mounts | Uprated engine mounts | THS Performance

Entries close whenever I remember to close the entries, around the weekend. Reminders help :p Poll will be up shortly in this thread. I'd tell Diablo that the calendar reminder/alarm system doesn't work for recurring events but since I appear to be the only one using it I doubt he'd bother to look at it.

Me versus ShaftWeasel aka SmsngBllSnyRM aka notacactus at Monaco. I'm in the Audi (cars were randomly picked for us (Shuffle Race)). Now I just have to win at Monaco tomorrow. :) Exhausts sounds quite good if you turn up the sub-woofer, only the induction sounds have a hint of vacuum cleaner Getting these videos online takes a bit of time so comments are appreciated :)

No snow, no day off work, and no horse burgers :( At least we don't get crippled by the snow here

Just swapped my X360 (bye bye Forza) for the PS3 (hello again GT) and I'll be up for some online racing over the next few weeks.

I think you were the one who spun out before the tunnel, leaving Shadow and I to do battle. I should PM him a link and see if he gets it.

Haha, Bruce is a legend among sharks

Going to record my old GT5 replays which some of you might have starred in.... here's the first one from years ago, featuring ShadowGTR (who's since left and become a brony last I heard) and T3hReaper, who appears to have gotten lost quite quickly in the race. :p One of my favourite types of racing - loads of power and no grip on the dirt roads with massive mountains. At one point I flew past Shadow since he was just spinning his wheels trying to get up the mountain while I managed my revs properly. :) Enjoy

What a great way to start the day though :cheeky: If you wake up at 6 come looking for us just in case we haven't ragequitted or been disconnected. I'll have to see if I can even sign on still

Friday Feb 8th is the 2nd anniversary of TDU2's release, so I was thinking we should do nothing on this day to celebrate. Then when they get upset, we'll have a go on Saturday the 9th to remind ourselves just how bad it was, while attempting to extract just a tiny amount of 'fun' from being able to cruise online again for the first time since September (unless you cruised online in FH... which I only did twice and it was rubbish). Who's man enough to reinstall TDU2 and try to drive the impossibru cars? Saturday 9 February 2013 @ 10am GMT PC (cruise) 1. Ryzza5 2. Santtu 3. patch 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Xbox 360 (poker tournament) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

Ryzza5 replied to Speeder's topic in TDU - Support
Wouldn't we all get banned as soon as we tried to go online though? Not that I'm against better physics being added to TDU2.- 2,501 replies

If he says 'turn car lovers into gamers...' when promoting FM5 I'll think of a better ending for this sentence :p

Haha wasn't sure if you could be bothered grabbing all those photos to make this article... I was lacking motivation. =) -
Veni Vidi Vici - Driving into 2013: a definitive guide to 2013's upcoming racing games Sim Assetto Corsa Project CARS RaceRoom Racing Experience rFactor 2 Formula Truck GTR3 Ayrton Senna game Forza Motorsport 5 Simcade Grid 2 MXM Project/Moto GP WRC 4 DiRT 4 F1 2013 Arcade Carmageddon: Reincarnation Real Racing 3 Urban Trial Freestyle WRC Powerslide Real World Racing LocoCycle Distance Nitrous Undefeated Need for Speed: Something or Other Well, that's quite a lot of racing games... so what are you looking forward to? Personally looking forward to Assetto Corsa and Project CARS. Will also keep a close eye on GTR3 and RaceRoom and will see if rFactor 2 improves enough to justify it's subscription model. If cheap enough I might also check out Formula Truck and GRID 2. DiRT, NFS, and Forza will have to knock my socks off to get me to stay up to date, FM5 has the benefit of an extra year in production. If there's a bunch of recycled content (tracks mainly) and that boring career calendar I'll probably leave it.

Google Maps Just did another quote for my car the same as when I applied 2.5 years ago and it's more expensive now... (slightly more than my first year, but the price has dropped about $200 for me since then).
