  1. Sorry to tell that, but TrackPack was only working on top of multiplayer Races. Project paradize not supporting multiplayer events other than free ride, that is a dead box.
  2. Platinum has a compatible TDUPE version embedded I guess, which has been specially modified for that case. You should have look at Platinum files. An alternative is TDUF database editor, which is more advanced and allows to change more things than only vehicle physics. But with great power come great responsibilities
  3. Which graphics card do you have?
  4. Which OS, using Bluetooth? Working for other games? Windows 10 + Bluetooth working out of the box here. Just go to settings with the mouse and try assigning buttons first. Axes require sticks to be pushed awhile to be registered. Do not activate any button while waiting for dead zone.
  5. Impressive... This mod thread went to a very detailed tutorial with simple but wise advices.. It would be great to have all this info pinned somewhere...
  6. Of course it is with TDUF. All you have to do is using a custom value (called resource) for Car_realname or (Model_Name + Version_Name). These fields are in Datasheet tab. Creating resource is rather straighforward: click ... button on the right then either select an existing value or create your own.
  7. Because TDU modders are morons probably. ?? Jokes apart, what's this question meaning? Do you believe anyone will give you an answer? Or is this just rethoric ? lol. You seem to have the answer and good knowledge on it so let's go and contribute to the effort instead of being condescending. I was just expressing my opinion, anyway why would I want perfect physics for a totally assumed arcade-y game with weird hardcore physics?
  8. There's no such a setting in TDU. Your best luck is to trick with vehicle 3d models in zmodeler2. Maybe when rotating wheel dummys you could achieve camber. But even with this, that would be only visual modification with no effet on physics at all. Plus potential visual glitches. Personally, I would not touch this, modified cambers are hideous. But if some do like it...
  9. People modding right here do their best regarding the free time they get. That could be even better, but hey already better than nothing. I would never expect this game could be as easily modded/moddable as GTA for example. Some games have a bright modding future, some haven't such, there are lots of reasons for that. At the end of the day, instead of complaining about others not doing enough given the game potential, some people should be more helpful and start contributing. It's never to late....
  10. Can't remember what happens when adding more traffic slots... @Milli might have tested it ?!
  11. Yes, that is needed particularly when TDU is installed at default location (program files). This path is 'protected' against malicious changes thus admin righs are required.
  12. Exactly what I wrote just after, the game simply ignores the color changes I am making with the tool. Nothing fancy here So disappointing and making me realize I may have lost hours for something which does not even work at the current state. Anyway, I will still publish TDUF 2.0 and people might help with finding why ?
  13. Small update: latest in-game testing in changing car colors for existing materials resulted into a strange behaviour, that's said the game completely ignores changes made (huh ?!). So until I'm able to dig deeper into the issue, upcoming version will only be able to display current colors (and some other seetings) for each material. Changes are not guaranteed to work and will be documented as ALPHA feature. Anyway, since it's a tough task to add new materials in this 2DM file, I guess this is not a so annoying issue for now...
  14. That's unfortunately not possible with our current game knowledge, and I'm even afraid it's impossible at all. The only frequency which can be set for now is per Island area (e.g huge traffic in urban areas, less in the lands...)
  15. Project paradise server can hardly be contacted from some world locations. As proposed many times before, you should try with a VPN.
  16. Yeah but the files might be slightly different due to processor architecture. That's why @Spewfr is asking for tooling update. If PS2 version comes with same file size protection system as PC (bnk1.map), would mean to provide matching magic map or ultimate map for it - or switch this crap off from the binaries.
  17. Tldr; I have not enough free time to help sorry. Hey, though project you're bringing right there. Current TDU tools have been designed with only reverse engineering PC version files. TDUMT2 tool is meant to support TDU1&2, but only bank files are more or less read/written. For TDU on PS2, better support would be achieved with good old TDUMT (in TDU tools) but adapting to platform specificity is required. Like Xbox 360 version files are not supported out of the box. Any other platform than PC would require hours of reverse engineering.
  18. Because you need original 2DB file ? Conversion won't work without it. That's how the tool is intended to be.
  19. What do you mean? If talking about app color themes, yes all you need is creating your own CSS file. Brief explanation is in tduf's wiki page on GitHub (settings section). Otherwise, for now new colors for vehicle exterior/interiors can only be achieved by modifying an existing material. I guess some materials are not currently used and might serve this way. Might be worth adding such a mention in the tool? (In use: yes or no)
  20. TDUF development continues, despite I now get way less free time to... Anyway material changes are working now, at least for the colors and shader configuration. Remaining things to do are correctly displaying layers and shader detail. Here is preview of a new theme, rather refreshing imo.
  21. Hi Binbow,

Just wanting to know if you'd kindly share xmb format specifications that you're using for the SVR and VPE tools (as it appears db data is xmb as well

Guys from TDU World project would like to be able to read all xmb files (mainly to make online up again) so I'm trying to write a generic xmb file parser.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards.

By the way, would you be interested in joining TDU World ? If so, feel free to PM Aquarious he's amember here. Dunno why but I can't send you PM that's why I asked in this public thread

      Hello, Djey.
I'm working on the verification using Plorers_v01 created by MeFisto9410, which was on DISCORD in TDU2 World. I sent the _DbItems.csv the other day and found some errors in the validation. And now that we can use Plorers_v01, I thought my findings might not be necessary anymore, but I'll send you a corrected version of dbItems.csv anyway.

Ok thanks, Plorers will help us for sure but it's not at the point where we could add more entries... still!

  22. TDU has never worked well when trying to join people from the map. All that we could do is all going to a "calm" place (far from the city), wait for people to appear, then lock. But even with this you'll experience hard times with your friends... Btw, going to map puts you out of the session everytime. Bad coding. lol That's not something which could be fixed from the server sadly.
  23. TDU GOLD is a version where database files have been modified by morons. Eastern languages have been added by replacing existing languages and messing up packed files names. No wonder some are experiencing crashes/incompatibility. Besides TDU GOLD has the megapack included already (?!). I suggest using official western version + megapack as base.
