English: This is my first and (maybe) only mod for the TDU. This is a translation, (Menus, Subtitles, Achievements...), into my native language (Brazilian Portuguese). Changes the language from English (US) to Portuguese (BR). Works perfectly in the Platinum and standard version of the game. (Other versions: I haven't tested it yet, but I believe it should work without problems). Installation is very simple, just copy and replace the files to: Test Drive Unlimited \ Euro \ Bnk \ DataBase Remember to do a Back Up before changing the files. (In case you didn't do the Back Up, I made the standard DataBase of the Platinum version available with the files). I hope you enjoy and enjoy this mod a lot, and that it helps in immersion! TDU1 Online Pursuit - Police Bookmarks

If you have ever played any classic racing game featuring police chases, you'll know that the AI cops can keep spawning ahead of you even after you've left them in your dust.
In Test Drive Unlimited, with the right group of friends, you can recreate numerous game modes, such as police chases.
A Bookmarks file has been prepared for a group of friends to use so that those playing the role of police can jump ahead of the player they are chasing in case they fall behind. This requires that the suspect stick to a predefined route along the east coast of O'ahu. The route is approximate 74 km (46 mi). The route allows police to predict where the suspect will go before jumping ahead, but there are a few locations where the suspect might deviate slightly to avoid their pursuers. The suspect should losely follow the route shown and not travel completely in the wrong direction, such as toward Honolulu or toward the center of the island.
Police players who jump ahead using the Pause Menu > Bookmarks > List > selection bookmark will not disconnect from other players they have already 'Locked' to, as long as they don't bring up the Map screen by mistake. They can then form roadblocks by pushing traffic, for example:
Installation Instructions
If you have not already done so, launch the game, create a profile, complete the tutorial, and save. This will generate the needed files on your PC. Exit the game. Navigate to Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\YOUR-PROFILE-NAME\ If you have a folder named bookmark, rename it to bookmark_old - this becomes your backup that you can restore later. Extract the 7z (zip) file to the same directory above. Launch Test Drive Unlimited and test the bookmarks.

Suggestions for a Successful Police Chase
Don't use Hardcore mode, especially if some players are already using Normal mode. Normal-mode cars feel much heavier than hardcore-mode cars which creates an imbalance. Agree in advance the conditions for when a suspect is deemed to be caught. For example, they might have to be stuck long enough for someone to type a message in text-chat. Agree in advance the conditions for a suspect resetting their car back to the road when nearly caught. This includes if the suspect car flips and is automatically reset by the game. Perhaps instigate a 3-second time penalty the suspect must wait after resetting before driving off. Agree in advance if suspects must be caught one time or perhaps 3 times along the route. Agree in advance the destination the suspect must reach to win. If you catch a player, don't pause to take a photo too quickly. Your car will ghost and the suspect may escape.

TDUF - Most advanced modding tools for TDU so far!

TDUF package is a set of tools and libraries, which is able to:
Check Bnk1.map contents and update it with new files in Euro/Bnk folder. Extract the whole TDU Database to JSON files (a human-readable format, ready to be processed by many tools and languages, including Javascript). Rewrite the whole TDU Database from modified JSON files Check and repair Database for integrity errors Help to understand file formats and read/write data from/to them Provide a Database Editor user interface, which wide range of features (not limited to TDUMT/TDUPE ones) and more to come! Even if it's called "Editor", this tool is a toolbox to export your files in your favorite 3D editor (maya, 3DS max, blender,... any editor as long as it's compatible with .obj) and obviously do the opposite. 😛
This choice as been made simply because I didn't want to make the usage of a cheap and badly written 3D editor an obligation. 😄
.obj has a pretty basic structure making easy to build an object from nothing.

Test Drive Unlimited Vanilla Supercharged
This is basically a mod that changes most low tier and some mid-high tier cars engine sounds. All Audis (except S6), Mercedes-Benz, Jaguars, Volkswagen, Mustang, etc, now have more authentic v6 and v8 sounds you would expect from thos vehicules. Some high tier cars too for example Mclarens have now a correct note. Transmision sounds and turbo sounds have also been adjusted, they sound a little lower now (I always thought they were too high, sometimes higher than engine). I only tunned some files but all of them have been made by the hard work from people of this forum, so they deserve all the credit really. Big shout out goes to them.
How to install
Just replace Vehicules folder inside the zip to D:\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Sound\Vehicules

I replaced the cars with a nearly similar size (optical size) like the stock traffic.
Q: Is it compatible with TDU Platinum?
Yes my Traffic Pack will always be compatible with the latest version of TDU Platinum
Q: There are some hidden Traffic Cars you have not replaced. Do you plan it?
A: No! Because you need a different AIConfig.xml to unlock new traffic but this causes sync problems
in multiplayer if some other guys use the stock AIConfig.xml
Q: Have your traffic cars new paint?
A: Nohh 😕 .... but i'm working on it. Some weeks ago i was testing it and it works but not proberly.
If anyone knows more about it... tell me 😉 ......or.. do it by yourself, because i hate coding 😛
Q: I found a car with a weird Bug can you solve it?
A: I need a picture or a description of the Bug than i can decide it to fix.

A: Thats a Problem of the game and the collision file i can't solve it because
i can't edit the collision file.

A: No because game has no properly working nights and all the necessary Textures are busy.

A: Yes but i'm won't. I let it in because it's better for the Traffic visibilty at the distance.
If you want to remove them you can use my light_fx.2db texture to remove it.
But Attention this remove the complete lightflares on every Car in the Game!!
Q: I have a problem my cars are looking like a Monstertruck when i crash into it.
A: Dont switch the traffic vehicles among themselves it causes optical problems wich i cant solve
Maybe if there come more cars later, replace it only with traffic wich is scheduled!!
Q: Can i share your Traffic Pack on other sides?

TDU Traffic Car Collection
Hello and Welcome to my Traffic Car Collection
Herewith I present you my (still) small Traffic car collection.
All my Traffic Cars are 100% compatible with my Traffic Pack and TDU Platinum
At first, there's not much new at the moment. 😄
But I hope that I can fill the list a bit in the future.
I've had some cool ideas for a long time, but I couldn't realize them due to lack of time.
The two cars BMW X6M and Caddilac Escalade Platinum which I created several years ago have been completely redesigned so that they now have the look of my Traffic Pack. I have also fixed some things on both cars.
Fixed the big rims, it was kind of ugly The wheels were wobbly Working Transparent Shadow (I will also do it later in my Traffic Pack too) And some minor adjustments, like light, reflections, paint etc. The 4 Topics to my different traffic cars will be deleted and are no longer available.
The two other traffic cars (Ford F150 and Cadillac CTS-V) which I created several years ago are already part of my Traffic Pack and will therefore not be included in this list.

5. Refer to the INSTRUCTIONS folder for illustrated step-by-step instructions on how to create an online profile and also to move over all the goodies from the offline profile to your new online profile.
1. Steps 1 to 12 - Cover how to create a new online profile. You also will need to select a Male Character, as the offline profile has a male character.
Buy your home, buy your Alfa Romeo GT V6, then exit the game.
2. HEX EDIT section - Covers how to copy/convert your new online profile to have all the money/goodies from the offline profile
3. Steps 13 to 15 - What it looks like if the HEX EDIT process was successful.

Test Drive Unlimited - Ace's Mixtape (Radio Mod)

This is my first (and probably only) mod for Test Drive Unlimited. It's is a mostly full replacement of all the songs from Test Drive Unlimited. Most of the songs are from other video games, while some are just songs that I personally like.
Since the .zip file that includes all the music and files is too big to upload straight onto turboduck, the download will redirect to a Mediafire file which contains everything.
How to Install
1: Copy and back-up every folder from Drive:\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Radio
2: Copy and back-up every file from Drive:\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Sound\Radio
3: Unzip the compressed folder
4: Paste the Euro folder included in the download to Drive:\Test Drive Unlimited\
5: Make sure to accept the files being overwritten
6: Start the game, ane enjoy!
