Hello strangers.

Was looking at Play.com coming soon chart for PC and saw this.

http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/6411951/Fuel/Product.html

From the publishers of Colin McRae: DiRT and Race Driver: Grid comes a revolution in multi-terrain racing and featuring the biggest racing environment ever created. Born of Asobo Studios' cutting-edge proprietary engine that has benefited from over four years of development, Fuel will present players with an astonishing no-boundaries playfield that's over 5,000 square miles (14,000+ km²) in size. With environmental detail inspired by America's most incredible landscapes, Fuel will be the ultimate competitive go-anywhere racing experience. Fuel will have players competing across wildly different terrain from deep snow to open wilderness and arid river-beds, and executing spectacular death-defying stunts as they race and explore this epic world on an unprecedented scale.

But what really got my attention (In bold) was that. Ain't heard anything of this game until now, I don't know how the graphics will look but it's from Codemasters who have made Colin Mcrae series, GRID and other games. SO i have high hopes!

I think this is a video of the game, my internet is down at the moment so I can't watch any videos.

Hi everyone,

Have some more exciting FUEL related news for you today!

Introducing FUEL’s immense landscape and varied environments, today sees the release of the CGI (FMV) trailer for this epic-scale multi-vehicle racer.

The video introduces FUEL’s immense landscape and astonishing no-boundaries playfield that, at 5,000 square miles (14,000+ km²) in size, delivers the world’s largest racing environment. With ultra-competitive races at break-neck speed and huge jumps, the trailer’s dramatic race captures the spirit of FUEL perfectly. The video also previews the game’s extreme weather effects, including violent twisters that tear across the landscape.

The video is available to download from the FUEL website from 10am today (http://www.fuel-game.com) along with a brand new set of in-game screenshots! The screenshots are also available to view and download from our FUEL Flickr picture set.

We'd love to know your thoughts about the new releases, so please let us know in this thread

FUEL is coming Q2 2009 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

I really loved DiRT and can't wait for DiRT2 (or whatever it will be called)

And Fuel looks like it could also be pretty awesome and maybe even a competitor for Motorstorm?!

I looked at the trailers & let me tell you it is no motorstorm. but it still looks like it could be good.

I'll probably get it to divert me till TDU2 comes out

Me too, when they release system specs for it. I'm planning to upgrade to a core 2 quad during the summer, wondering whether to wait until I've done that before getting this.

I also want to know if it has a proper cockpit view, none of this bumper cam crap for me.

EDIT: After watching a few trailers, it seems it only has 2 chase cams and the bumper cam. Sod it then, not getting it. The handling looks too arcadey for my liking too. When will they make a proper sequel to 1NSANE?
