That Tricolore is amazing looking, great colour choices and another thing you've done that shows how great something like this would be in the original game. It's all about the personalisation and making your car different to everyone else that would really make this game even better. Along with better handling of course!

2db texture converted by Knyazev's Texture Tool, car material settings edited with a simple hexeditor. The texture size now 4096x4096 pixels.

 

The car still paintable, or stickerable but Sticker Paint shop use another fix sized textured layer. (Original only 1024x1024).

 

This solutions helps only if you want add a HD pre textured 'factory color' for car...

Above this test's texture, is a simple pattern, nothing is aligned to UV map, I just dropped and converted.
