It seems there was a huge accident recently in Watford (I'm not from the UK, so not sure where that is) involving a Zonda. Is this one that you guys have seen? Shmee has some info, but the notable part is that the driver was killed and the passenger uninjured. Is this one of the Zondas that anyone's spotted over there? Black with tricolore stripes.

Shame about the driver. :(

That's a shame to hear.

Never seen shots of it before, so I guess it was pretty new to London.;)

Edit: Just saw the new update, and it really was new to London. The owner bought it just a week ago

Always sad when hooning has to end like this. Shmee's website says that the driver might not have been wearing a seatbelt which I find odd. If you buy a Zonda and within a week of it, take a young person for a ride and plan on 'showing what the car can do', the least you can do is using your seatbelt. The death could possibly have been avoided, nevertheless may he rest in peace. A real shame about the car too :(

Well bugger. It's hits you hard when you see the pic of the car 2 days before... His life was great, just bought a new Zonda, out in the town having a good time, 2 days later and there's nothing left of the Zonda and he's dead.

Ouch, a clear example of the tragedy that can be avoided as long as a seatbelt is worn. Why in the hell would you not do it? It's not cool to not have one, just plain unintelligent.

This is so sad :( And yet, a simple piece of fabric correctly suited up could have saved his life. It is rather odd that you would drive a supercar with over 550hp without a seatbelt. Still, RIP.

Very sad story, left a 2 year old daughter behind too. All because he didn't wear a seatbelt.

The car had just been sold from Joe Macari, it's the one that was painted Matte red after it was imported into the country Pink.
