I hope they changed the actual physics of cops rather than simply dumbing down their AI. Their aggression is perfect imo, it's just that they weigh 500 tons that's the problem.

The latest Patch may not have fixed everything it promised, but cops seem much improved. Rubberbanding has been shot down somewhat and I CAN FINALLY PUSH THEM AROUND :chewy2:

Haven't played it much recently, it's not the tdu3 I'd hoped for.. Mainly as no one seems interested in cruising but then the game theme isn't really set up for it, too grimy if that makes sense. Ah well, maybe one day

Same, had a brief cruise with someone a month ago at their request but haven't really played it since late December. No one is organising cruises, and it takes a good 30 mins to relearn its physics to drive quickly. One day I'll get around to exploring all of the map and become more familiar with navigating it but got a few other things on atm.

Remember they mentioned having to rework their game engine... which might imply that the TDU1 engine simply cannot handle a map that big.

TDU2 would have been fine if it just felt like TDU1 to drive. Map was big enough and the car list was better than The Crew.

lol you see my despiration here, I think importing this map to tdu is much more likely than ivt fixing the physics.

TDU1's physics aren't that big an improvement, plus I don't think it's very off-road friendly (i.e. no dirt tyres you can install). So all the dirt roads would behave like the airports at best (I'm guessing).

 

But it would be interesting to see if part of TC's map could come across as a test (i.e. West Coast)

true but still, a modded tdu is better looking, has better car list, better game design, descent physics (like a clutch that actually works), hell you can even move the seat position, photomode, ignition, auto-detecting gearbox system... These little things what makes a game great like TDU, how the hell did they manage to move so backwards. I know it's not really a sequal but 'I worked at TDU' was certainly a part of marketing

I wonder if I just lost all of my Skills challenges, lost connection or something and when I got back in game the laurels around all of them were gone. Checking the leaderboards also says 0/0 on all of them.

I find it has no grip whatsoever and it feels like it actually starts to take off at higher speeds, it's almost undrivable quickly if the road is anything other than iron-flat. Feels a bit meh when it's so expensive and I already have other cars that can realistically go much faster :/
