The hype & fanboys? No. It was annoying being a rally fan when he his the mainstream as everyone treated him as if he was god....only in terms of actual rally he was't actually that good compared to everyone else.

As far as I know he was sort of just there in the WRC, dont think he was part of the main Ford team (like he was in the B team) even in the US championship I mind he was something like 10th place.

And I also like Block, I know he isn't a good rally driver, but he's a good stunt driver I guess. For rally we've got Loeb, now at the WTCC with "Pechito" Lopez as teammate

He did retire, but that was his decision he didnt really lose because he only took part in 2 or 3 rallies last year and as far i remember He and S.Ogier didnt like each other too much not sure if you can call them team mates :P

 

Also in WTCC he won on his & the cars debut race this year.

 

And in meantime he also beat the record on Pikes Peak Hillclimb

I like Ken Block. Sure he was never competitive in WRC, but he has been somewhat successful in the Rally America series, plus he still has a pretty amazing level of car control to do all the Gymkhana stuff. Plus that Fiesta looks amazing :drool::clean:
