My first cruise, from Detroit to Miami. So far so good! Though overly arcade it's fun. The transitions are great, and the mood on different parts of the day is great also! Btw, I'm the only one that finds the sound with a bit of stutter on outside camera?

Yep - sound is tied to framerate

 

When you discover that the mood is tied to location rather than time it gets a bit old. If you're on a twisty road it can go from sunny to foggy to sunny very quickly.

Had a blast yesterday :D Maine - Seattle - down the PCH to Long Beach, LA with a random guy I bumped into in Seattle. Took me two hours.

Have to say down in florida area, having driven on these roads in real life just a few months ago the significance is utterly insane. Even though I'm quite disappointed with key-west at least it's in the game :P, but Miami is spot on.

I want to drive an uninterrupted lap around the island but it's too hard to navigate

 

I wonder how the story will try to make sense of you driving around that far when you can catch a plane.

Random question, seen some cars have different number plates on them. Is it a case of Midnight club where you can pick any of the 50 states? or a case of if you buy the car in Nevada it'll have a Nevada plate, NY has NY plates?

Don't have a choice of plates atm but I do recall seeing some award/perk concerning them later in the game story

yeah you can choose from number of different plates which are rewarded for completing assignments like discovering landmarks etc. The letters are not customizable atm from what I could see though. I think the states are random for the dealers. I've bought a focus RS from new york and it came with nevada plate.
