Alrighty it took us 20 days ...maybe 21 to get from 100 members to 200 so we're going to run a little competition with an unannounced prize as of yet to guess what date we will reach our 300th member sign up.

Oh and note we will check the IPs of new members to make sure nobody is trying to fool us by signing up multiple times. Just a bit of fun and because we're getting excited because the activity is increasing by the day and the site is on schedule for it's release.

I seem to disagree, if we keep getting new members, that must mean TDUC is getting/is popular, which if you ask me is a good thing..:)

Quality over quanity. Most member come only for mods, which isn't really helping the community to develop a lot. I mean, of course there are some members that originally came for mods but later joined in the active discussion. But face it, with almost 18,000 members and the record of most users ever online being 445, it's kinda pointless. It's like having 10,000 cars but only driving 10 of those.

And we exceed 500+ online just about everyday. Also at that, it's different people everyday.

 

Not everyone is here for the mods. People join up who don't have the PC version but they don't get around to posting straight away, or they have more important things in their life to do and forget that they signed up.

 

If some people just want mods and don't want to be a part of the community, then that's their loss and there's nothing we can do about it. Just don't let it bother you so much. No one forces you to look in the mod shop so it shouldn't bother you.

I think it's a blessing and a curse

 

Once again, this place is busy, there was a point where it was getting stale

 

however, the problem lies in the fact that with the traffic the server gets raped, and this place is on a knife-edge financially. Most of the supporters here have been here since about 2008...
