[HEADLINE]The Crew 2 Reveal Trailer[/HEADLINE]

The Ubisoft E3 conference is taking place right now and for those who were lucky enough to catch the leaked trailer and saw what it showed, the rest of us have only just now caught up and damn was it pretty exceptional!

There's a Beta coming too! The Crew 2 Beta

The Gameplay Preview has also been posted.

Wow that actually exceeded all my expectations, no cheesy story, handling looks better, more detailed World and all the new vehicles to enjoy it.

I'll admit i wasn't expecting this.

Catch that gameplay video if you get the chance guys as it shows the game off well. Also how awesome is that loading method for the next stage ?!

For a moment I thought I was watching Interstellar

@Ivory

So many transportation possibilities and still no... "open door, explore by foot where the vehicle can't or SHOULD struggle" (so many places .. beaches, offroad, houses, closed off areas/parks).

Also... Go back to making 1:1 scale real worlds (including road widths this time) and skip nitros along with all other childish things. And I don't need or want a crew...

thx

Well I wasn't much interested on a TC sequel because the first game was quite dull. However I have to admit that now that I've seen the trailer, the interest grow a little bit. Let's see how this progresses, because it can be either a big hit or a big flop (Yet another one).

Well I know there wouldn't be much to do other than socialize, waiting for drive group, car show meets, and explore as it's not GTA (no I don't want casino back), but the exploration would become way easier in beautiful locations. Not having to try navigate with a big car in close quarters and allow areas inaccessible to cars is a good thing. (not like anyone? would go walking along highway or random woods). I also miss walking at all the other events to look/while waiting.

I KNOW.. Photo-Mode can do wonders but it's not.. what's the buzzword... IMMERSIVE. ;)

Anyway it's not like compulsory to do or hard to implement as they've basically already done it. (wasn't there even a mod that enabled it for open world or was it a glitch?)

Plus you finally get to use and hear the actually rigorously designed sound of already functioning car doors more. (never checked much but the sounds better be correct and not crapo-generic ^^).

So they've released that trailer now, and it's due to be released early 2018? It seems like it's quite a polished product as it is, I hope they'll be working on the driving dynamics inbetween now and then.

It'd be good to have some contact with Ivory Tower over what's on their to do list before the game launches :hmmm:

So what does everyone think about being in the USA again? It does look like they've made tweaks to the buildings, and perhaps some of the roads. Perhaps like TDU2's version of O'ahu.
As long as it isn't just a better and more detailed version I think it will be received well. The extra routes over (and under?) buildings will be a nice change but like you say it cannot feel too samey to the original. But when thinking about it, maybe they are aiming for those who didn't play the first one at all, rather than return players? :hmmm:

I hope they expand on the player police pursuits. Having a server instance that people can enter where random chases can happen is something a select few would always like to see.

I don't know if people have seen that Audi are in this one too.

That first gameplay video is exactly the opposite of what gameplay I want to see right now, he even stated how that the first game was 'his baby', I don't want a fanboy to tell me how amazing the second game is, I want a more cynical pessimistic negative person like myself to play it  I understand that's not what the publishers want right not, I just mean I got absolutely nothing from the gameplay video's audio, a waste of time really.

It does look really good tbh, i'm slightly concerned about the driving dynamics, the guy who said they're really good went on to then praise the new NFS game... so i take his opinion with a pinch of salt there.

Have to put your hands up for Ivory Tower though, they've really pushed the boat out with this release, very aspirational.

Yeah BP is a bit of an easy handling arcade fan so chances are unless you prefer games to drive for you you're not going to agree. He's also more about portraying a character in his videos which makes him hard to watch. Slap's video was awesome and showed a lot of good stuff. Good to see the game looking and playing as well as it does. Hope they iron out those collision physics with the environment and that the side mirrors are operating at release.

Ivory Tower and Ubisoft have really done one on this. It's really quite remarkable what they have going with it.

Can anyone see the switching at any point remaining? Maybe they will due to how they've seen people using it because of how insane it looks.

Hmmm I'm not so sure about cars and boats dropping off the sky. I would have preferred something like someone from your crew driving your vehicles around ready to receive you when you decide to jump from one to another. Still, those cities look much much more better than the first iteration of the game...

I'm just worried that the novelty will wear off quickly. Everyone's keen to muck about with planes for example but one person at e3 reportedly got bored with it pretty quickly - do a bit of low flying, fast travel to unlock parts of the map quickly (although perhaps your first plane is no faster than a car on the freeway), do some events, and then... hope the cheesy story is captivating enough to sink some hours into it? I guess more will be revealed, although on this occasion I think I'd rather avoid all the spoilers and just be surprised when I fire it up.
