ETS2's distances are scaled down to make the gameplay more diverse – this way, you aren't spending the entire night driving through the Polish countryside. That said, it is still quite a long distance to do a job.

It is extremely scaled down, but for good reason. Embarrassingly I have lost my patience with that game... :whistle:

1 hour in game (as far as ETA goes) is roughly 3 minutes of real life time at motorway speeds.

 

So a 10 hour in-game trip takes 30 minutes, etc. That last trip from France to Africa took me about an hour.

It's okay, I guess, because Hawaii (for example) is much more smaller and besides a map as big as Europe would take several GB's out of your HDD

O'ahu map is much higher quality and more dense. I can't check the exact size of ETS2 atm but it's not that big. Maybe 1.5GB. Check the demo download size from their website, that's just about it.

Just wanted to make sure. I still haven't played it after I reinstalled it a few days ago. Never got more than 1 mission into it. Really want to play through it before GTA V comes out for PC. Seems like I'll have plenty of time for that.

Get ENBSeries and some script/weapon mods, your rig can definitely handle it and it'll look spectacular.

Yeah it's GTAIV, with L3EVO enb config. I'm going to change the config though 'cause this one is too dark in the night.

It's not only about ENB Series, also timecyc.dat file makes the difference! I've edited it a bit and looks so much better, even without any enb or sort of effects, i've removed that "foggy" weather style, also reflections on car are more visible

Now I remember another reason why I stopped playing GTA IV... Starting to play it again from the beginning, yet my performance, at least when looking at the city, is less than 35FPS... Had to run the game with -nomemrestrict -norestrictions just to be able to change my graphics settings.
