Kind of, but you still have to pay for the modifications :p. And it gives you more of a chance to play around with customizations. I'm going for the R8 atm, not sure if that crosses the end of the game or not.

 

I dont know whether you talking about the PSP version, but on my xbox version theres no R8 and we dont pay for the modifications :confused:

There is an R8, you unlock in by registering on Rockstar Social Club and completing 12 objectives.

Pretty easy though, just go on one of the green races with a maxed-out Murcielago or Ninja and keep doing race again. But yeah, save it til last. I've only done 2 :(. But on like 60% and 80% on a few others. The 25 hours cruise i'm on like 80% for but i'm just going to leave the PS3 on for like 4 hours in cruise mode to get it. The miles i'll do in no time, 1400 down, 3600 to go :D.

Drive = 56% - 2778 Miles

Consecutive Wins = 8% - 2 Wins

2 Wheel Distance = 70% - 7 Miles

Wheelie Distance = 87% - 13 Miles

Time Cruising = 100% - 25 Hours

Total Special = 26% - 1261 Uses

Jump Distance = 100% - 282 Miles

Career Wins = 90% - 314 Wins

Cars Destroyed = 16% - 40 Cars

Opponents Hit = 100% - 1708 Hits

Objects Hit = 77% - 7614 Hits

No you have to damage out 250 times its pritty easy just drive in to the sea loads of times

Nah, got 9 myself, Need 350 wins, 25 hours cruising and drive 5000 miles. But for the 350 wins I need to make sure I don't lose any so I can keep my 25 consecutive Lol.

Thank god mine was only 2%, I'm doing it last, the damage cars one is easy, damage objects one is easy, The 5000 special one is pretty annoying, I'm also very close to the damage objects, drive on 2 wheels, wheelie and 350 wins.

For the specials, I strapped my controller up with elastic bands and NOS'd into the sea loads of times. NOS counts as a special so it's pretty simple to do :)

Does anyone know how to close convertible tops like the Murcie ones, the ones that you can't close normally?

There isn't a button for convertibles on default controls, you'll need to use custom controls and configure it yourself :)

I saw a bunch of guys online and in Rate my Ride have the Murcie top closed.

If you go into a room with 8 or more then all roofs will be up and you won't see the interiors very well. The Murcielago's roof will work this way and will remain this way even in Single Player. In fact it's kind of annoying trying to get it back!

The Murcielago's top doesn't close, but all other convetible tops do.

I have played through the whole story, but in that time I only used 700 specials. For the R8 you need 5000, so didn't really want to repeat the story 7 more times to unlock it :)
