Haha, nah it's because I got 2 computers in my room one for games, other for internet and photoshop or what not.

 

So press F5 every so often when on TDUc and bhaM! :p

 

Why? You may aswell use 1 for all of that. :S

This is the best I've seen so far, but I liked the reflection one too :)

Reflection one works well for images that are pretty close to the edges but as for a wider shot it don't work so well.

 

I've added a slight black frame round the image to make it look like it is actually behind the header a touch now rather than a part of it, if you know what I mean. Think the gradient could be darker also though.

I like the idea and all, but tbh, I think it looks better stretched. I just think it's too..... big!

What's there atm doesn't look too bad.... But then I'm only on a 1280x800 screen, so I don't get that much stretchyhogs. I like what yer doing with the inset image type thing.

That's going to be a bit hard to do every week ;)

 

Mine, you just have to insert the image each time and delete one or less bits :P

Aha, but the way I've made it makes it easy I(or someone) can just plonk the image underneath the smudgy stuff and Voila! Header ;)

That kind of idea would be easy to implement often as the best way would be to use a layer mask and then you just have to replace the image itself when need be.

Another layer'd one. Similar to Randy's but not smudged, I used rubber brushes.

 

This and Randy's style looks the best imo (smudge/blurred left/right edges)

I played with the idea of a burnt edged look earlier but didn't like it. Might give it another look.
