TeamXbox has some new media including a new trailer showing some of the production cars that will be available to race in Race Pro. I cannot wait for this game!

according to the mag that I just took a quick look at in a well known supermarket there's a demo going to be available before Christmas ... and the game is out in Jan

 

the review mentions that it'll shock the PGR/Forza drivers ... means I'm going to be totally useless at driving it instead of just useless

 

But ...

Sweeeettt, especially like the mention of Forza. And yeah there was a rumour of the Christmas demo said back in August I think, whether it still goes ahead though is still to be seen.

Finally a racing simulation game that looks half decent on the xbox, can't wait for the demo if their is one.

Takes practice guys, I can tell you from when I played GTR/2 the sound, cockpit view, actual marhsalls and did I mention the sound immerse you right into this game.

Looks pretty good, looks quite a bit like GTR Evolution (just with more production cars :)), I'll check it out when it comes out (I'll get my friend to buy it for his X360 :p).

what a great looking movie.

I don't like the 'live' action stuff at the start though. Makes the game look a bit cheap imo. It reminds me too much of the time when all racing games had a bit of real life footage thrown in to make the game look nicer.

Haha, you have a bit of a point there, but hey, more production cars sound fun. I get endless enjoyment from throwing the R8 around the 'Ring in Evo, and no cheesy intro video footage could ruin that.

ATARI? I think they should have concentrated more on TDU 2 or updates for TDU then this GRID copy

Haha this game is nothing like GRID, I never took you for one of the Gametrailers comment kids who don't know what they're talking about.

 

Just search for Simbin and you'll find out this game is what ToCA should have evolved too, and it's certainly not GRID.

Yeah, I agree, GRID always felt a bit funny to me, the physics were weird, it feels like an arcade racer that wants to be a sim but didn't make it, DiRT anyone?

Anyway RACE Pro is delayed to February and the demo is now pencilled in for January. Which believe it or not is only another 2-3 weeks compared to the original delayed release at the end of January. :D

 

I'm happy for one that Atari and Simbin are taking this title seriously and making sure it is in fact ready when it's ready. The new Atari perhaps?
