What it's telling you is it will resize to 800 wide or 600 high whatever is reached first ie; is the image normal or vertical. So when the image is resized the script hits 800 and then has a value of what that was in relation to the original and then will work out the correct aspect ratio for the other dimension from this value.

 

Basically 800x600 of the original image was not the correct aspect ratio. It's right too try resizing a 1280x1024 in Photoshop and see what you get.

 

I think from next weeks we will allow 800x640 images due to this. Also I have updated the resize script to account for this now, images for inline posting can be no higher than 800x640 now. I need to format the rules and image guidelines so they are a lot easier to find in the new year and such.

 

I'm looking forward to the new year as well as dreading the start of it.

Man god damn Imageshack with it's idiotic resize. But anyway the pic would look crap if it would be 800x600 instead of 800x640 since the car would look "higher" if you know what I mean. I don't have photoshop :( I've EPIC FAILed

thank God no one was on my way.. I crashed into a kerbstone.. :( just 1mile from my work :(

 

I'm bit drunk coz my father-in-law(-to-be) was "serving" some booze xD not to mention its 4am now..

 

anyway, i guess i;ve made some pointless post that nobody care about but because im so depressed i had to write sth really...

 

 

well.. i had some coffee earlier so i guess its time for TDU (yes, I mean it :P)

 

some say i speak better English drunk than when im sober but that just a rumour ;p

 

 

ok... guess its high time to end writing this ;/ i just hope everything's gonna be ok (i do care a lot bout mah car tbh}
