  1. I'm not really good at 3D (nor at UV mapping), so my first showcase isn't really great (I didn't even make that low poly house :p). But I swear I'll make a eye candy sector to show the tools features. :D Right now, I still need to: - remake the UI - fix some glitches I spotted (like the fact you can't export imported roads; something's wrong when computing the tristrip) - write a decent user guide to use the tool - (and also finish the work started for the next project paradise update :) )

  4. Do in some work with the team these guys are doing awesome work... I'm more of an old school guy myself and have a bunch of classics I've worked on and added to my game... I will be putting some finishing touches on stuff and submitting it so they can concentrate on what 90% of people love and want. I will do my best to please the other 10% :-)

    Reputation is anonymous and people tend to put their name in the rep comment when it's positive, not so much with negative rep, however we can check who gave any sort of rep and also if there is any dodgy rep-boosting being undertaken. Like = Thanks but not enough to say with a post. (you can of course like and post a reply if the desire fills you) Reply = Show your thanks and appreciation by taking the time to show it. Rep+ = Thank-you so much that you feel they should receive some virtual plutonium-esque bar'age. (usually accompanied by name of giver) Rep- = Completely disagree with what you have said and feel strongly enough about it that I think you should be red bar'd to give a small indication to visitors what kind of person you are. (typically anonymous but staff can check if there's a need to do so)

  8. So as some of you's may have seen, I was with Me™ and a few other of our friends to go drag racing. Meet at 6:45am before setting off on our 2 hour drive... [ATTACH]23401[/ATTACH] On the road, the Lex just eat's up the miles as you'd expect from a luxobarge [ATTACH]23402[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]23403[/ATTACH] And photo taken while waiting to drag. [ATTACH]23404[/ATTACH] And that's it, I raced a Honda Legend but nobody seemed to have gotten that on photo or video. Because it's everyday you see two Japanese VIP cars racing on a drag strip... :lol: *I never took any of the photo's, the first 3 are took by friends and the last taken by the people at the track.

  10. SO after a few days and nights of playing the game, I think i'm confident in saying that Project CARS isn't really finished yet. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but in my eyes it could be soo much more. For the amount of thime it spent in development, it's a shame that it seems to be buggy and incomplete to me right now. Here's a few things that irked me and such i've come across while playing. Crashes, usually when starting a new session/race. Cars seem a little too grippy Some odd physics behaviour, mostly related to cars reaching the point of flipping. Apparently, pitting also counts as cutting the track, i've had cut track penalties while leaving the pits. Online stuff is odd. Netcode doesn't seem up to it yet. Had cars warping and jumping across the track. Online games dropping while starting a race, so you'll be the only car on the track when the lights go out. Had a weird thing online where people left during the grid, but an invisible car was left in their place. Menus don't seem to like working with the mouse that much. Seems designed for a keyboard or gamepad. Something for me personally, no Free cam for screenshots. They seemed to work fine in earlier builds a year or so ago. Not something i've experience yet, but apparently the AI is rather dodgy. Inaccurate tracks. For example, I know someone who works at Sonoma in Cali, US. He's told me that the Sonoma ingame looks very little like the real thing I can honestly see where people come from who compare this to NFS Shift/2. I'm starting to see why too. It's still better than Shift/2, but feels like it somewhat. I think it feels most like Shift/2 when the car hits some big bumps, just the way the car bounces feels like Shift/2. I hope they can manage to make this game more.
