  1. Driver San Francisco might do the trick, just need a 360 controller.
  2. Must be getting us back for stealing their cars for TDU
  3. :fp2: I check the leaderboards before updating the first post: Profile - ozzmcom Make sure you're in time trial mode, boards then update every 30 mins.
  4. I've done my bit to help out by spending $20 on the Scania Truck Sim. "Features 10 individual challenges"... wow.
  5. Went for a great drive this morning, car got filthy as roads were wet and muddy in places. Went to the shops and paid someone $20 to wash it while I had a late lunch and came back to find they did a great job. Win!
  6. I should've written Garbage Truck Simulator isn't that bad, but I didn't think anyone could possibly have thought making such a game would be a good idea.
  7. Hey, be nice! Euro Truck Sim isn't that bad
  8. This better be in FH :) Hope it features on TopGear next year too
  9. When are we going to cruise again Ozz? :)
  10. If there was such a handling mod we'd have a massive banner and fairly lights drawing attention to it... ...probably :p
  11. Well apparently the Golf silhouette is one of the most recognisable so I guess that counts.... But aren't 90% of cars recognisable to anyone anyway, or are we talking one variant in the model range that stands out? I'll try this for now, yell at me if it's not right:
  12. vB search is often rubbish, or at least it used to be, even when using advanced search tools, so even I barely waste my time using it. Type site:tdu-central.com NAMEOFCAR into Google.
  13. Or you can finish off my abandoned index thread :p
  14. If anyone can find these 17" at a reasonable price shipped to Melbourne I'll ban you, or give you rep - your choice :) Love the twists in the spokes.
  15. Thanks mate. Checked the brochure and I've got "Alloy wheels (Cleveland) 16 x 6½" with 205/55 R16 tyres" Unfortunately the GTI brochure doesn't show this info for comparisons sake.
  16. Ok so going from 205/55/R16 to 17" would mean the tyre would have to be __/__/R17 (fill in the blanks) Also how do I work out what my current offset is and then what offset I would need for a 17x7 or 17x7.5 rim? Thanks
  17. the better question would be how much closer to real life can these screenshots get Click: http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/2926/pcars2012070715355151.jpg
  18. Do you ever play driving games? :cheeky:
  19. I thought the size has to match what's supplied for OEM for any variation in the model. i.e. a Golf 90TSI has 15" wheels, Golf 118TSI is 16", Golf GTI is 17" or 18" (optional), and Golf R is 18" or 19" (optional), so legally I could pick anywhere between 16-19. The other stupid thing about ADRs is that since the Golf is treated as one model, the biggest wheels are the ones that must be at least 3kph/3% out (speedo compensation), which means my 16's are 8% out, and driving down the freeway doing 108kph is annoying when you have passengers in the back seat looking at the dash. I've connected to the onboard computer while driving and can see that the car knows the actual speed (although that's out by a more acceptable 2-3kph compared to GPS and advisory radar traps). You can only see this hidden speed by connecting a laptop or phone to the OBD2 port or by setting cruise control and then resetting the average speed data in the trip computer.
  20. My wheels were scratched by the last owner so new wheels would be one way of fixing that if I don't repair them. Wheels spin too much too easily so I thought gearing up would be a good thing.
