    I um possibly might have forgot to password protect this one :rolleyes: :p If you want them gone (they're only noobs) say the word, although given the extra week before the first event I'd think they'd get bored and leave anyway (in which case they wouldn't be able to come back since I've added the password now. Nice to have a full grid (28 cars) pending though - will be a good race You can tell it's not Apu, etc since (1) Apu, etc are still in the old league, and (2) the new league shows how many races each manager has done, they're at 0 or 1.

    Don't actually have many icons on my desktop on my new tablet just yet so this will have to do. Have installed Start 8 for when I'm in laptop mode, upgraded to Pro with Media Centre, and purchased Office 365 University ($25 per year for 2 computers, free updates to new versions as long as I keep subscribing, plus an extra 20GB of SkyDrive (45GB total now), and $60 worth of Skype every month). The tablet is a Samsung ATIV 700T with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 CPU, 11.6" touch screen (anything smaller would be impossible with 1080p, I've turned font scaling up to the highest setting (not for readability but so I can use the touch screen without the stylus). 128GB SSD, 4GB DDR3 RAM, battery life so far is over 6 hours. All working well so far.

    Rumours are there will be an Xbox event in May this year , we know the console will be out by the end of the year before holidays, maybe even by late October when Forza usually comes out??? NFS? If I had to guess, I'd suggest this year's one will be made by the "The Run" team (going by the 2-year cycle with 2 studios) and they'll make something to go along with that NFS movie that I think I heard about in the chatbox here a few weeks ago.

    Sorry Dux, I tried to make it sound as general as possible and not target any country. I've just observed a lot of Russian-style usernames in TDU1 when I played it last year, and I'm reminded of other free roam driving games like Streets of Moscow and City Car Driving Simulator and a couple of other titles that appear to have come from that area. They like cruising, and so do we - no negativity intended. :)

    I'd rather spend $5 on TDU2. I'm sure they'll find an audience in Eastern Europe or something or those with non-gaming PCs (assuming it's optimised). I reckon it would've been smarter to add gyro + touch controls and put this in the Windows Store for tablets.

    Except for not TDU1 to amuse ourselves with thile time slowly drags its feet. Maybe it's a good thing not having the constant reminder of how much we enjoy cruising :)

    Being over at a friends house when the PS2 just came out and he got one so we played a bit of Gran Turismo 3, but kept swapping back to the PS1 so we could play Worlds Scariest Police Chases (which I think must've been a burnt copy otherwise it should've worked in the PS2). Going back even further, playing Need for Speed II SE online (my first ever online game session) with my cousin who lived 600km away over a 56kpbs dial up modem. Plenty of great gaming moments playing TDU1 online in years gone by as well. Sigh.

    I do know how to remove bloatware ( have to do it every time we get a new Toshiba laptop at work). The Samsung looks like a better laptop replacement. I'd only use the tablet as a tablet when connecting to my car diagnostic system, in meetings/conferences, probably not on the train (would use my phone) - unless doing work in which case I'd prefer the proper adjustable keyboard dock in the Samsung. At home I wouldn't use it much (can use my phone or PC). If typing I'd be using the keyboard, not touch screen. Marking up PDF files (highlighting, adding notes, etc) would be a common activity too.

    I'm really struggling to decide between the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro and the Microsoft Surface Pro Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro + Proper keyboard + Adjustable tilt in laptop mode + Better pen that is stored inside the tablet (better eraser too) + Supposedly extra battery life in the keyboard dock + Available to buy now - Less refined materials/polish - Bigger size - Most ports are in the dock, not the tablet (only one USB port + mini HDMI on tablet) - Can't confirm if there's a version running Windows 8 Pro (instead of home/standard) Microsoft Surface Pro + Better cover (light, flips behind screen, less likely to leave it behind somewhere) + Reviews suggest slightly better performance, better screen quality + No bloatware installed + Preferable size + Reportedly quieter than other Win8 i5 tablets + All ports are on tablet - No firm release date still, can import though - Pen looks like it will be easily lost, lightly held by magnets, needs to be removed when charging

    No I think the actual flying is boring too, which is why I only do short flights, so I can get to the objective (landing without dying) quicker. Or there are those missions. I'm just trying to work out the objective for Minecraft? Is it just resource collection like one of the those space games? Is it farming? Or is it more like a simplified city-building game? Then I have no-idea what changes in multiplayer mode.
