That's so weird, though. :oook:

What's weird.Fact is,if you want 458,you'll get PC game,if you want C8,you'll go for xbox360/PS3 game,if you want both you will buy both PC and console game. That's how they make money.I hope PC will get C8 in next patch, and consoles 458.At this stage TDU2 isn't game, but a money maker. If you get what I mean.

*pretends to act surprised*

Soon they'll own the rights to every car that developers want in racing games. Wouldn't shock me if they even gained the rights for the 2CV and old Beetle just because another developers game featured it.

"All new TDU3, featuring the likes of the Ford Mondeo, Vauxhall Corsa and more!"

Hi, is it still possible to add the Toyota Soarer / Lexus SC300 (twin turbo) or SC400 of 1991 full stock ?

It's always possible, as long as you have the tools, the references, the skills and the will to keep going on with it and not ending the project as soon as óne thing won't work.

And to add those cars to the game? I think it's possible, as DLC car from Eden/Atari or as modcar once custom cars can be imported.

I know it was said that the items that were cleaned outta this thread was from the speculation... but i do have a serious question. Before the drop of the car list Atari did back in December. I did remember seeing a picture of a Dodge Challenger SRT8. Now i wish i would have saved the pic. but does it ring a bell... possible DLC Car ??? Please somebody back me up... I swear i remember seeing it.

Then I suppose you have three options:

- hope that Atari will release one as DLC

- request somebody to make it for TDU2

- get all the tools and files and do it yourself (this would be best option)

Arf, the worry is that i did not have the equipment to do it, but it's not like I'm missing, i tried to do, but it looks to me really complicated...

Understandable, it IS really complicated, it's not simply putting a mesh ingame, especially stuff like correct texturing etc is what makes it difficult.

BADNED hinted to some TDU2 cars, eventually half of them appeared to be possible DLC content (they were never shown by atari but were shown in Rabcat's portfolio pdf). One of his hints was a number, and somebody said that exact number was the price of the Challenger, so who knows.

Atari's official forum of TDU2.com has a DLC request forum where people can request cars, which Eden (or outsourcing company Rabcat) might make and release. Atari looks at the requests, they decide which will be made, and Eden or Rabcat make them.

DLC and Car Requests - Test Drive Unlimited 2 Forums

You could indeed also ask members to create a car for you, but you should remember modders don't often listen to requests and only/mainly make what they want to make. In addition to that they haven't imported new cars into TDU2 yet so it's not possible (yet).

Maybe somebody can convert that car from an other game to TDU2 once they know how to add new cars (or replace existing cars with new mod cars).

I know there were loads of modders for TDU1, but I don't know which are still active and which are not, and I also don't know if all those modders will also do TDU2

Old list, those are file entries in TDU2, although it also contained entries for bikes, including offroad bikes.

I am rather sure they won't come. With the current rate of releasing updates (and Atari won't speed it up), can you imagine how long it would take for all that to be released? They don't even have the money to license all that stuff, let alone the Lambo's.
