RFT's are much harder than normal tires and they kill the ride comfort. It's horrible even on 17" wheels. Every BMW owner will tell you that. :nods:

Oh we couldn't tell, the A6 had Sport suspension, so it was stiff as hell. the M550D has adjustable dampers, and in comfort, its soo smooth next to the A6, so we don't even notice any hardness, so to say :cheeky: Anyways, i'm sure my parents wouldn't want to risk damaging the rims, if they got a flat tyre.

Conclusion: Didn't know that one :p

Yeah, yeah, it's rather confusing when you live around gravel roads and only gravel roads and have driven an assortment of SUVs and pick-ups for 10 years prior to acquiring this. I don't even bother with keeping it clean anymore. It also used to have a rubber front lip. It fell off.

 

The steering wheel is in good state :)

RFT's are good when the run flat, but they're much worse in just about every other comparison. Rather have better grip to avoid the possibility of a fatal crash rather than panic about the rims.

MB, not all bad :P 12L/100km average flooring it :p The consumption and the stereo are the worst things about our car :p (oh and the sat-nav, its bonkers!)

I leave mine dirty, because I like writing/drawing on it. :nods: Even though it's bad and not cleaning it leads to it rusting quicker, the roads I take it'll just get dirty again so I drive threw puddles! :D (it's single track back roads).

I need to get a new starter motor, and maybe a new flywheel. Starts fine but sounds like the starter is't disengaging quickly enough. So get a sound of gears crunching. But for now It's fine.

If i floor our Mondeo it does 55/100km so it's not that bad :lol:

 

If we floor it in our GT it does 110L/100km :mhmm:

Our econobox does max. 29.9 L/100 KM according to the computer. :hmmm:

Max I've seen is 50L/100km for a brief second. Most people average 6.5, with my driving it's closer to 7, and if I got for a cruise it's about 7.5

I can always defend myself as ours is a diesel and should not reach such thing as over 50L/100km..i hope :eek:

Ours does about 5.5 at it's best, idea conditions, average about 7, and err.. 9-10 when it's cold. :p

Before we got ours serviced we hit 14 MPG(uk), cba converting that, when thrashing the thing :lol:

I know, but ours is a 2.2 making 400nm of torque with only one turbo. :p Yours is 3.0L, tri-turbo making a lot moaaar torque. xD
