  1. 1. Do you still enjoy TDU?

Recommended Posts

Yes, with lots of help from modifications (new cars :D) and also largely due to the fact that I haven't beaten a number of the challenges yet. (I just have a few Time challenges I can't beat, and some of the Hitchhiker, etc. challenges I haven't had time to finish.)

Unfortunately, though, I haven't played TDU that much recently, just because I've been busy with other stuff.

agree I think it'll last for ages now. The new cars and mods keep coming thanks to modders.

Sort of. When it 1st come out I loved it. It got a bit boring then I got XBL and then had a brilliant year to year and a half with the usual suspects but after doing the same roads and coastal run it did get a bit boring.

Good game to come back to now and then if you want to thrash a car about or socialise and cruise about now and then but not a game I would go on all thetime now unfortunately.

Lets hope TDU2 brings some good stuff and possibly a second Island as after exploring the newer roads if theres no new island it will get boring quicker than this one did.

No.

Used to adore the game with a passion, but times change and there's barely anyone "decent" on anymore.

TDu2 may be a disappointment but at least people will play it...

Agreed.

Reason why I don't enjoy it any more as well is because it doesn't go online any more for some stupid reason!

Yes. Had the game on 360, and now im on PC. I find stuff to do like, i do my own point to point races and i try to get the highest average speed.

For example, i recently took a CCR on a 260km non stop high speed drive with a average speed of 215kph(134mph). Usually ill set out on a 75km trip [length of the island] and see how high of an avg speed i can get in a RUF RT 12..usually about 220kph average, cant seem to get higher than that

Also, somtimes i like to drive the speed limit in TDU. Gotta keep mixing things up.

Not for me anymore, sadly.

Like most others here, I adored it with a passion when it came out but in recent times my interest in it has fallen a lot, partly because of other games i'm playing now, but also because the last time i played TDU (which admittedly was a very long time ago), the servers didn't work.

And even though all the wonderful mods on this site do add a bit of longevity and variety to the game, I don't have the patience to (for instance) change engine sounds and find the best ones via trial and error, nor can i be bothered to go through all the steps to change the car bodies.

Hopefully though, the new Community 1.67 patch will get me interested in the game again...

I still play it more than I like to admit. I just upgraded my graphics card and an LCD monitor in late 08' along with a sub-woofer, processor,G25 & G11 just this year.

So only since around April of this year have I had the goods to REALLY play with some descent upgraded gear.

Having just over a 1,000 miles of road has kept me interested. Unlike some Need 4 Speeds were the map is rather small and can get really repetitive TDU has alot of different areas and scenary to keep me wanting to come back.

It does get boring from time to time, as I only play off-line alone.

I am sure as time goes by I may play less & less but for now I play it about everyday, or every other day. When I get bored I just switch to GRID, Richard Burns, Need 4 Speeds,

Xpand Rally or what-have-you and thrash around.

So to make a long story short.... definit..YES!
