Since seeing the pic of the 91' Lancia Delta, it got me thinking.....Most people(me included) when we herd about off-roading, though SUV's, and off roaders such as Land Rovers. But with the Delta beeing showen in a pic....maybe they may include some road-rally cars!

 

Car's like the:

 

Audi quattro, Ford RS200, Lancia Stratos, Impreza P1, Evo 6 Tommi Makinen edtion, MG Metro 6R4, Renault 5 Turbo, Peugeot 205 T16, Ford Escort RS Cosworth, Sierra Cosworth, Lancia Delta S4 and Lancia 037

 

As i said, it'd be the Road going edtion....so no quattro S1's! no matter how cool it'd look!

 

Just a thought...what do you guys think?

I'd pretty much be happy with all of those. I really dislike the newer Evos, though. The Evo 6 is the last Evo I really liked.

I'd like to see the Merc 450SLC, the Peug 405 T16, Lancia 037, those would be cool. If they put in an Impreza, please don't put inthat ulgy anonymous hatchback of this moment.

I cant see it happening somehow... I'd love it, being a rally fan (dont actively follow the current series, but y'know :P), it just doesnt seem like something they'd do. But then with the offroad SUV's its entirely possible. Despite that, I still cant see them adding 2 of my favourite makes to the game; subaru and mitsubishi... Would love to pwn some fool in his fezza in a modified 90s wrx XD

Also, i'm not wanting to keep this rally game thing up, but DiRT was ok, DiRT 2 should of been 'Ken Block Rally'.

 

I also though, they could have some rally events, and even Community Rally event every so often.......Set it out like a real rally, and well the rest's self explantry really! Although the events would be restricted to the rally only cars.....so no WRC Spec Zondas, no matter how cool that'd look!:twisted:

Yeah, I know what you mean with the Ken Block thing. As great as the game was, it was all over too quickly for me. At least with TDU2 you will have that freedom and diversity that is lacking, with much better controls/physics than something like FUEL could allow for.

Been meaning to do this for a whiile now since the full list is out, but here goes!

 

So we know what manufactures are in, and It's made me think, a Rally DLc pack?

Now I'm only including cars from manufactures that are confermed, so don't go shouting about if somthings not there!

 

So It'd be split into two groups:

 

Legends and Modern Day

 

Legends: Audi quattro, Lancia Stratus, Delta S4 and 037(Both the road going edtions), Ford RS200, Subaru impreza 22B .

 

Modern: Audi Quattro concept, New Stratos, VW Touareg(Paris Dakar Rally car), 2009 2009 Focus RS(ok, not a real rally car, but has the Rally sport name) or Focus WRC or even Ken Blocks aurocross Feista, C4 Rally or the DS3 rally

 

Just an idea though!

Its really great to see that some people still like the old rally cars. The Lancia Delta S4 Stradale is a beast!!!

 

I think that ATARI/EDEN can really make a great game out of TDU2, if they listen to the community! I just hope the game is not all "falloutnewvgased" (=bugged).

Agreed, most hideous Impreza in history. I'd rather go with the new sedan variant:D

Indeed, even the current gen sedan looks good, the hatch is the one that looks dull from the base and never becomes cooler no matter how much rally-related letters Subaru throws in the name.

I honestly prefer the hatch to the new sedan/saloon version. The hatch-back version has grown on me some-what. At first I hated it, then I ignored it for ages, then I had a decent look at one last year and I quite like it, with all of the WRX/STI stuff on it anyway. It looks pretty crap otherwise.

 

I don't like the rear on the sedan/saloon version, looks pretty boring/Toyota-ish apart from a large spoiler.

 

I still prefer the older ones (MY2003/04, Hawk-Eye) excluding the bug-eye version, and always will.

Man I really hope Eden listens to us in this forum.

 

It would be such a waste not to get the most out of the offroad feature.

 

Lancia Delta D4, Delta 037, Toyota Celica, etc... Plus new SUV's (RUF Dakara, Range Rover Defender.) Audi Quattro, Citröen C4, Ford Focus RS, Escort Cosworth... you name it! :thumbsup:
