Congrats to EyeKatcher for winning! :)

Week 53

Rules:

  • Photo MUST be taken by you.
  • No Voting for yourself!
  • Photos should be within the limits, which means - not bigger than 350 kb.
  • The winner chooses the next week's theme. If someone wins twice in a row, the runner-up chooses the next theme.
  • If you post more than one photo, you must tell us which one you'll enter with. If you don't, the first photo that you've posted will be entered.
  • Photos cannot be used twice for two different subjects.
  • Your photo must follow the theme. The person who chose the theme has ultimate control over whether a photo gets entered or not - there will be no arguing over whether a photo is acceptable.
  • Basic photoshopping is allowed, such as resizing, brightness, contrast, selective coloring, saturation, cropping, hue, B&W, noise reduction, borders, your name/logo etc. No pasting extra objects to the photo, changing backgrounds etc, as that's not what PhOTW is about.

Eh, sort of want to enter but all I have involving history is some cars which I don't really want to enter. I also have a picture of some ruins but there's so much noise in the photograph I can't be bothered with it.

Random photography pays off again. Got quite a few photos I could enter but I'll enter this for now:

^ please forbid them, they are annoying me..

I decided to bypass all my architecture pictures and grab an average car one for precisely this reason.

Doing a pic of a car aint photography, sorry

That's quite laughable really. Since when has subject matter decided what is photography and what isn't?

I thought I would join in this time.

Before you start, I know it's a car but it has some great "history" behind the location I photographed it in. When the car was built, it was put on a boat right at this location in Skye (Isle off mainland Scotland) and then shipped down to the owner's house in England. Last year he travelled in it all the way back up to Skye just to take some photos of it parked in the very same position and location it was once in for "nostalgiaic" reasons. I chatted to the guy and he seemed very friendly and he showed me the photos of it in (I think it was) the early 1930's waiting to be loaded onto the boat.

Absolutely incredible! ;)
