Ugly. Why did they dedicide to make it look 'sporty' if it shoudn't? It is a confortible car so it shoud look like a fluffy labrador. If it was 63 AMG version it'd be ok, the same thing is with new SL - the SL65Black looks great but normal SL (AMG even) looks bad with this front end... Rear lights are better though.

I saw that one the moment I saw it (last month on TopSpeed). Of course, the Accord coupe is pretty nice-looking in my opinion. And you never see them. If the production version looks like that, it'll be Mercedes' most solid-looking coupe.

I'm glad to see the wagon looking like an E-Class wagon - saw one of those in the wild the other day (an E-Class), and it looked unbelievable. So much better than any picture. :)

The C-Class has been designed to be a more dynamic car since its release in 2007. Younger audience = more dynamic appearances. The C-Class is not meant to be a rolling cathedral like the S which is driven by mainly old fat men with lots of retirement and no hair. It's not only a headlights concern, you can also see what MB is trying to let people feel by releasing photo's with mostly the Avantgarde versions, and the fact the entire design is a lot more sporty with that V-shape in the nose etc.

Nice comparism with the Accord Coupe, which is actually a good comparism. Here in Europe people keep shouting MB would have been stealing the Hofmeister kink from BMW, which is definitely not the same.
