lol - am I alone in this? because the repetitive nature of this game makes my skin crawl - from the pathetic attempts of voice acting (omg the male driving instructor!? *shoves a double barrel shotgun between his teeth and pulls the trigger*), to the paint shop's complete and utter failure to include stripes as part of their repertoire - other than the online play, rendering engine and weather systems, I despise this game.. it's like some long overdue patch for TDU.. it belongs in 2006 - the game's overwhelming number of weak points are SO bad that it completely overshadows the good ..or am I trippn balls?

its all very cringe worthy stuff, its a shame as i like playing a game with a good storyline, but to be honest there is not alot you can do with a story with the game being a MMO racer

I mostly blank it out. Yeah, it gets annoying, but at least they didn't spend months working on the voice actors, rather than the graphics...

 

Chances are, once the races are complete, we shouldn't be hearing from them again. We're free to roam as we please without interactions with the crew.

I just unplugged the center speaker from my 5.1 surround system. The voices are only sent to the center, so I don't have to listen to them anymore. Engine sounds etc. go over the remaining 4 speakers, so I don't miss anything.

 

The A-license instructor (marco?) sounds like URL from Futurama. Did anyone else think this while doing the A licenses?

I started off instantly being annoyed by the voice acting, then I gradually faded it out to the point I forgot about it for about a week but as of yesterday I'm back to square one again. (oh wait if uve played the game you cant miss it cos the lady cant seem to find anything else to spit out instead of the same line over n over n over n over again)

okay if u have come across the line you will notice how "she" can never use the punctuations in her own sentence.

She goes like this "Hey There WHAT Drama? The Wilder Brothers are squabberling with Stuart again!" -- and it took me 4 days to actually punctuate her whole statement myself to see what she actually meant XD

 

Here's an advice for Tdu 3 developers(the way u guys messed up in tdu2 i wonder if there is tdu3 XD but anyway)

Hire some Porn stars to do the voices atleast?? Atleast they'l sound sexy and i wont feel like a computer repeating the whole sentence again n again like a broken radio ffs

LOL The game isn't one of the best NO, but if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to play it. Or send ATARI/Eden Games a message, not express how much you hate the thing on the forums in the most vulgar way possible...

 

I dont like a lot of things about it, but then again I love a lot of other things too so its fine for me.

 

With the Logitech G27 it drives just fine, and the sounds are pretty good for an "arcade game" (as stated by Atari themselves". NFS Hot Pursuit is arcade too but the E93 BMW M3 sounds like a hoover with turbo whistle. So this game is doing pretty good on sounds compared to that ;) (Obviously it doesnt have an M3 but you get what I mean).
