Hey there, all information and updates pertaining to the patches and title updates for the console versions will be posted in this thread from now on. We will do our best to keep it bang upto date but should we not be able to always remember to check out and keep an eye on the official TDU2 forums as well as the TDU2 and atari_destra twitter.

Xbox 360 Latest: 2011-03-15 @ 13:47/1:47PM GMT

New Mandatory DLC available along with automatic update. Game may require restart after New Content message appears. If the game doesn't load as normal after The new content message and the restart. Then Reboot your console and it should work.

 

* You can either download the Mandatory 01 DLC (FREE) from the Marketplace.

* You can load your Save from the main TDU2 menu where you will be told you don't have the content. Press to view the DLC and then download the Mandatory 01 DLC this way.

 

Game will then restart and you can continue as normal

The latest news from the development team is in. Please see below for the most recent update regarding the progress on the console patches:

 

TDU2 Community,

 

Thank you for making TDU2 a huge success worldwide. We’ve reached the top of the sales charts in many territories and continue to work diligently on making TDU2 the best persistent-world racing game on console and PC.

 

The first of our game optimizations for console will be live tonight on Xbox 360 at 1am PT (9am GMT) and PS3 is soon to follow. This update will resolve a corruption issue that some players experienced with their saved game files. In some cases corrupted files will be automatically repaired.

 

Available on Monday, 3/14 at 1am PT (9am GMT) will be a patch that should address many of the outstanding concerns that some of the community experienced on PS3 and Xbox 360. We have worked diligently to stabilize the network and address log-in issues. Friends lists will now be populated, invites will work correctly and Clubs will be brought back online. The Casino has been optimized and the bug causing players to lose money has been resolved. We have also addressed many of the exploits in the game and will be monitoring cheating in all its forms.

 

The TDU2 community has been a great support to the development team and we look forward to rewarding your loyalty soon with free DLC content. We should be able to provide dates once Microsoft and Sony approve the content and will update the community as soon as they are expected to go live.

Hey Everyone - Today we received a tentative release date for the PS3 patch. It's looking like it could go live on March 17th. We've got our fingers crossed! The patch that rolls out tonight is just to "un-corrupt" saves.

There are also reports of Corrupted Saves being fixed which is good to hear!

Not out for the UK(On PS3, just cheacked)...Although i'm not affected by the sasve problem(Same for all my friends).

 

Also When is the Club patch ment to be out? The Last of my frends have stopped playing TDU now, and thats made me stop....cruzing is't as fun as it should be!(Admittidly If PS3 had Cros0Game-Chat, the problem would't exist)

 

Well Hopefully It'll be out soon..want to make my Club up before Yakuza 4 comes out!

Note: Instead of paying for more licenses, ATARI should help EDEN getting more workers. I don't know how many guys work at EDEN but when I imagine it, I see four malnutritioned workers in a 18th century house in the center of Lyon just sweating all day, working on patches!

An update has appeared on the TDU2 Marketplace page on Xbox.com.

This could be what we've been waiting for. I've downloaded it and testing it now.

 

At the moment you get a message at the Main Menu about a Content Mismatch, the game restarts and loads as normal as far as I can tell. I'd wait for official confirmation before going for it just in case though.

 

[+] I'm guessing this main package is awaiting activation or the like, regardless downloading it doesn't seem to cause any ill effect from what I can see, however if you'd rather wait for official words then feel to do so.
