Well, I got a CF 6850 in a few days ago (it's a XFX 6850 Black Edition) and of course, my motherboard gave me all sorts of trouble. If I want to CF cards, I have to disable every other PCI slot. That means my ASUS lan card is useless. So, I either get a USB adapter for internets OR a new motherboard. AGAIN. Even if I do go with a USB adapter, my 2nd card will ONLY run a x4 and not x8 or x16. Very stupid.

Anyway, here are some pics and decision time..

Doesn't your mobo have enough onboard LAN ports to use???

Never knew about having to disable all PCI slots to use CF, but then I'll stick with Intel+nVidia thankyouverymuch. :D

Wow - Mr. Cottons sure was dirty before you washed him (compare 2nd pic to last pic)

lol, just hurry up and build your PC and stop fidling with it. :D

My PC is nearly 3.5 years old (besides GFSX card, got that 1.5 yeasr ago) and still runs all my games on full details. Had a quick peek in Windows Performance and everything is 7.3 to 7.9 (max) besides my primary SATA 2 HDD (5.9). I reckon I'll easily get another year or two out of it.

Help!

Some time ago, my harddisk died. It was a seagate barracuda 7200.10 320GB.

I searched a bit on the internet, and ordered a new one, a barracuda 7200.12 1Tb.

My old harddisk was a SATA II, and my new one is a SATA III :fp:

Would my new harddisk de compatible with my pc?
