Looks much like the list that's been floating around on TDU2.com for the last week or so. :cheeky:

 

I doubt most of them will end up in DLC though. They could just be leftover strings in a database from a very early build before manufacturer license negotiations had started/finished. I believe Diablo saw a Lambo Lp-something or other being modeled when he got invited to the Eden headquarters.

I saw 2 LP560's in the first ingame screen shown at the presentation back in June 2010. I also asked about the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni and got a smile and a nod. I believe in another image that was showing a courtyard of a mansion filled with plenty of cars that there may have been a Diablo GT amongst them.

Amazing list, but I agree with Mellors. They may have modeled some cars before they got the licenses (BMW and Lambo they most likely couldn't) and just left them on.

 

I'd honestly love to see all those cars in the game. Maybe it'd attract a lot more whiny customers to the game. Then again, TDU1 had Mazda files, etc., but they never made it to the final game.

I also have such a list, it also mentions Lamborghini copcars and offroad bikes. The Mazda you're aiming at in the WIP list is the RX8.

Also would love the Viper ACR, the regular one is just...boring :lol: Actually I want all of them! (except the BMWs :cheeky:) Rally cars (Quattro, Abarth Punto S2000 etc.) would make offroading more fun!

TDU1 had almost that many extra cars. It's still a matter of licensing, though. So Lambos and Bimmers are still out. I believe TDU even had some BMWs thrown in the files. :)

 

You say these are "WIP," though. Do they actually have models in them? Is there something tangible in there, beyond a name and an unused slot? If that's the case, these could be very important. Otherwise, it's just another carry-over from TDU1.

Well some of the cars there ARE available... At least as I heard. I heard that if you escape 5 times without being catched by the police, you´ll get police outfit and stickers for some cars.

Escaping the police is called Outlaw in the game, arresting people as a cop is Officer. For arresting people, you'll start to earn police clothes, stickers, and eventually a Viper Ibiza copcar. For escaping the police, you'll get Outlaw stickers, outlaw clothes (eyepatch etc), and eventually a stickered CLK63 Black Series.

As much as i hope this list of cars will eventually come in Test drive unlimited, i don't see it happening!

And why should we need 4 different dodge chargers? So i think some of them we will see in future DLC'S but the most of them are models that never been finished(licenses,money?)

599XX is already available in game as a finished model + textures + sound. SL65 + ZR1 + Viper SRT10 and Dodge Charger SRT10 are also available.

 

Obviously you have to use Hex Editing to get them, which now I think is blocked ? Since it stopped working for me.

Does the SL65BS and ZR1 have the same sounds as in DLC Challenges? (this sound is from TDU1, Ferrari 512TR used it). If yes, I bet the sounds aren't final. I think they are replacement for final sounds, but Eden didin't include them in Exploration Pack for some reason (my guess is they are not finished yet)

But yeah, it's awsome. Some say this thing was the fastest Group B car. Since there are so many rally cars in game files I thing the only car missing is Toyota Celica GT-Four. I'd love to have either ST185 or ST205 in game (preferably both).
