I lost my license about 2 weeks ago, which resulted in losing my job. Sucks, bad situation, but y'know. You deal with it. On the up side, this means I have 6 months of my corolla being in 'off the road/project' status :) and I can now focus on getting a real job, that has a future, AND I get to play a lot more xbox lol. So expect more forzatography from me over the next little while, as I've rediscovered my spark again :)

Much appreciated guys :) LOL yeah I didnt really go into any detail there did I... I was speeding, got a 6 month suspension and 2000 dollar fine. Now, when I say I was 55 km/h over the speed limit, that sounds bad. Even worse when I say it was 115 in a 60 zone. For whatever reason, our motorway offramps are 60 km/h, and often the police will hide themselves wherever they can, the cunning bastards, and catch people like myself. At the end of the day, yes, I was 55 over, license was taken off me on the spot, but oh well... If I hadnt been running late for work I wouldnt have done it. The copper could have been much harder on me tbh, he would have seen my cambered wheels and rather low ride height, but didnt even mention it- no defects, no nothing, just the fine that he doesnt dictate and the suspension.

Unless anyones got an issue with it, i'm going to merge my Horizon and FM4 galleries. Well... not so much merge, i'm not bothering with my Horizon gallery anymore, i'll just post any new Horizon shoots in here, lol.

 

And with that note, heres some photos :)

 

Inspired wholely by the DGSOTW comp, but once I drove it I absolutely fell in love with it, with a little bit of suspension tweaking it handles like a dream, but its still pretty edgy- once the tail end snaps loose its pretty deadly, but controllable XD

And I agree with what you said about Horizon, there are only a few good photo spots and they get used pretty hard by everyone. It would help a lot more if you could drive off the road a bit more. It would also help if the map didn't take 5 minutes to cross :fp:

Maybe you should move over here to Dubai, you won't get in trouble for speeding. I got caught by a hidden cam doing 140 in an 80 zone last year: £100 fine.

These 2 cars, to me, are really the pinnacle of Honda's FWD platforms- they may be slower than the later model Civics and Integra, but they have such soul- especially for cheap Japanese sports cars. They've captured the hearts of many a young man around the world, through their use in movies and video games, and constant features in magazines, and the tuner challenges run by Best Motoring. Theyre cheap, aggressively styled and very well balanced, both on and off the track, which is why they fit the JDM Icon title, to me.

Something i've got rolling around my cranium at the moment is that i'm going to start releasing single shots from a shoot or 8 through the week, then release the whole set/s on FRIDAYS. Thats right. At least several times a week, perhaps several times a day, i'll be posting single shots from any of the few shoots I have done through that week, then EVERY FRIDAY i'll do a formal post, with all the sets etc. I think it'll work well and I look forward to hearing your feedback. I'll have a photo up soon, i'm currently shooting a lovely red Evo 10 :)

As promised, my new favourite Evo. Such a horny looking car... I've tried taking photos of them before, but its never worked- never felt right. It was probably a case of; wrong wheels, aftermarket front bumper (I usually put the Chargespeed one on, because I love the double cannards, badgeless grill and front lip) and wrong colour. It just really worked this time... Anyway- i'll throw up another few from the shoot through the week, look forward to the whole lot on Friday. There is a bigshot, and I must say, without sounding like too much of an ass... its a beauty.

Really need some feedback on those 2 evo shots guys, I just noticed as I was taking them all off my storefront in preparation for a new set to go up- I think they look great on my big monitor because of its dynamic contrast. The thumbnail on one was incredibly over-exposed, so I loaded up the full screen version, as I knew I didnt do any horrid over-exposure and sure enough, it comes up looking fantastic. NEED to know if the dynamic contrast is giving me the illusion of well lit and composed images, or if they actually are good. I cant really tell here because i'm using my laptop, and I dont have an external monitor for it, apart from my widescreen one that I took the photos on, and its in my cockpit connected to the xbox anyway. So yeah, I need detailed, constructive feedback asap if you can, would be very much appreciated :)

lol it certainly is, hence why i've changed the schedule up- in that I actually made a schedule, so that its not a random smattering of sets that no one sees :) Care to let me know just what those evo shots look like, to you, on your screen? Over/under exposed, over/under contrast, too much/too little colour?
