List is pretty much complete, just missing some tiny bits here and there which you will see soon anyway. Finalization, if nothing goes wrong, is set for the 22nd.

 

So the ForzaCentral car list is nearing completion and we're still missing stuff like the EK9 Civic, R33&R32, old NSX, MR2, Omni :cheeky:, EK9 Civic, Escort Cossie, EK9 Civic, Volvo, Saab and did I mention the EK9 Civic? There's still hope that even some of these cars are in but it's not looking good tbh :(

 

I would have sold my left testicle to get an EK9 instead of a...Radical? :eyebrow:

Just like the previous games, the Forza Horizon demo appears to include the full database from the final release of the game. From this, I've created a list of all cars and all engine, drivetrain and aspiration conversions.

There's no guarantee that they haven't stripped a few things out of the demo list, and no guarantee that all of these cars are on disc and not DLC. However, it was 100% accurate for the last game with launch day DLC, so assume the worst.

 

Highlights:

 

- 153 drivable cars, 18 traffic-only cars.

- 16 of those 153 are Unicorn cars, ranging from the Honda CRX to the Aston Martin DBR1.

- No drivetrain conversions.

- No drivable Buicks, Chryslers, Oldsmobiles, Mercurys, Acuras, Healeys and so on.

- Roughly 10 cars that aren't street-legal.

 

Feel free to spread this around other boards, and drop me a link to them if you don't mind.

 

(And yes, I am posting this around a few boards myself, to end all the speculation on the car list. :) )

Just tried with the wheel and it's not really smooth enough for me - have to turn up the spring + damper to 1 on the CSR Elite and then it feels too notchy (sensitivity set to off). Can't drive as precise as my skills would normally allow because of this but at the same time the 3 cars in the demo generally feel too easy, like an assist is still on. Also couldn't use the clutch since it's mapped to the handbrake for some reason with no way to change it. Hopefully can be sorted out on the full game. FM4 is also quite hard to setup nicely on the wheel compared to PC games and GT5.

^iirc there's an option to swap handbrake and clutch in the controller settings. At least I think I saw it there :hmmm:

Tried various wheel layouts, moving handbrake button around on the wheel doesn't change anything for the actual clutch pedal

Well their TV advert has stuffed them up. I spoke to only 2 people today who I knew where getting it. One of them canceled his pre-order after seeing the ad and said his interest in it has now completely been lost and another (who hadn't already pre-ordered) said he won't be getting it any time soon anymore. As soon as I saw that ad I knew it would turn people away.

It's an Aussie-only ad that's being aired to highlight the reduced Xbox price (probably in response to the new PS3).

CRX as a Unicorn car? I know in the UK they're getting harder to get hold of but im sure there not THAT rare! :lol:

Also did I see that right that the Ford Feista is a unicorn too? o.O

 

I came accross this link to Forzaplanet.com(Found it Via IGCD for FH). It's a list of codes That were found in the demo files. Dunno how legit it is though!
