  1. 1. Pick the Week 15 winner for best 90's Supercar photo

Recommended Posts

Congratulations to Ryzza5 for winning the Driving Game Screenshot of the Week last week.

* Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes)

* Images must not exceed 800kB, and be at least 990px wide by 340px tall.

* Each person who enters must cast a vote in the same week to remain eligible. You may not vote for yourself.

* Winning image must not be of TDU2 as you risk account suspension.

* Winner picks the next theme, unless winning consecutively, in which case the runner up decides.

* Winner has 48h to PM a new theme to me or another member of staff if I'm away, if they fail to meet this then the theme will be a free round.

* Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them wouldn't be eligible). Please mention what game your screenshot is from.

* Minor non-enhancing editing permitted (cropping, addition of your name, etc) is permitted, as long as the actual screenshot isn't tampered with. Just like all these other comps.

Week 15: 1990's Supercar

* Car was available to purchase brand new in the 90's... it might've been made in the late 80's.

I thought everyone would have a Ferrari F40 or 355 or 575 plus Porsche and Lambo, then you've got the McLaren F1, Jaguar XJ220, etc. Think about all the old NFS games basically.

By 90's I mean available to buy new in the 90's, not so much made in the 90's.

hmm but only 386 of them were made... not sure if any would be left over to buy in the 90's :hmmm:

I'll include it but if you don't think it's a 90's supercar then don't vote for it.

Just a pity Diablo still hasn't got the most recent DGSotW in the banner yet.

Zoink!

In 1992/1993, Porsche built eight 959s assembled from spare parts from the inventory at the manufacturing site in Zuffenhausen.[1] All eight were "Komfort"-versions: four in red and four in silver. These cars were much more expensive (DM 747,500) than the earlier ones (DM 420,000). The later cars also featured a newly developed speed-sensitive damper system. The cars were sold to selected collectors after being driven by works personnel for some time[1] and are today by far the most sought-after 959s.
