The news many Xbox One owners and future buyers have been waiting for is here and that is that there will be a Forza Horizon 2 demo coming September 16th. The glorious looking next iteration of Playground Games' fantastic freeroam racer is fast approaching and you'll be able to get a taste of some of what's to come within the demo before its actual release on the 30th September.

Noticed the xbox 360 version has been in the shadows, it seems it's just a meh release it and forget about it, no gameplay screens or anything so far.

I dont even see the Whats new section, and yes I am a gold member. I found the actual Horizon 2 game page on the store, it has 4 dlc's available, can preorder the game etc, but no mention of the demo on there, just says the game is unavailable and has a release date.

So I've seen some gameplay and watched a stream and they went to see how much barriers are there and there is a stupid amount of barriers, you go up a hill and there is a barrier however the interview someone did it says where you see you can go? What's up with that.

I think that might be the very edge of the play area?

 

Few points from the demo:

It's short. It's really short. If you've played the FH1 demo, it's reaaaaally similar. Driving feels amazing and graphics are incredible. The game area is really nice (at least from what I can see) but you don't see that much in the demo. It does have online freeroam but I'm not too bothered with that with only 3 cars in the demo. It's probably going to be like FH1 for me, disappointing demo with a great full version, only less disappointing. We'll see...

The edge of the play area just reset you back, these are proper barriers which are halfway up the mountains.

I think you misunderstood me there is a play area for the demo like a section of the map, I'm on about taking a detour into the mountains and hitting a barrier midway up the mountain or hill.
