Just had a new idea: glowing brakediscs!

This was in the intro of part 1, but we never saw it ingame whereas other games have it: GTR, Grid, Shift.. Heck, there's even a mod for ye good olde Viper Racing that gives glowing brakediscs.

Would make for awesome pictures in rainy races :D

Lots of cars tdu 1 had about 120 something cars tdu2 should double this amount. I would like to see more exclusives not just for clubs. Pre-order stuff and giveaways like the old days man it sure was fun driving around in a rare car made me feel like a million bucks and make it so we can sell the exclusives to generate more in game funds.:monkeydance:

if you count each individual vehicle title in the game the total comes to 153 for tdu1.

i wanna see more mclarens in tdu2.

i hope the slr roadster does not replace the coupe version and i'd really adore eden for including the m6 gt from 1970...

Test Drive Unlimited is really the *ONLY* game that can get away with putting coupe and roadster variations without getting flack, and if they do this, it'll pad the car list more than it should...This is neither good nor bad.

For instance, it would not surprise me if the SLR 722S, SLR Roadster and SLR SM are all in the game, they all become valid models, same goes with with Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche (Although I think they're out?) with their coupes and spyders/cabs.

Somewhere I don't hope so. Specifically seen as I've had enough SLR for now in racinggames, it's time to bring in the 63's and TDU2 has a chance to give the SLS its PC-debute. But more generally seen, for some cars it may be nice, maybe, but I'm more of many different cars. I also don't need a 4-door car, in both normal wheelbase, as in long wheelbase, as in limousine-version. That's too much.

And I dunno if Porsche will be in, if they will be in I'd like the 928GTS, 959 and that new 918 Spyder concept. Ferrari, BMW and Porsche are always into these cases with licensing making them exclusive to game X or developer Y.

Ferrari's in. Porsche probably falls out due to licensing issues, if it doesn't...I think it'd be awesome to see them.

BMW, I'm not really sure, but I think it goes with Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki about open world racing or something. However I'd like to see a bunch of M BMW's and the Honda Bikes, NSX, S2000 and Japanese Civic Type R.

The SLR is everywhere I agree, but one variant of it wouldn't be a big deal, might be useful. I'd like to see one SLR in (Coupe to be honest, I'm not a fan of Roadsters in general)

I agree with you also on the long and short wheelbases. Another thing we don't need is the model scale: Mercedes S400, S550, S600, S63, S65.... Just give us the 65 and call it a day kinda deal.

TDU2 NEEDS TO BE A RACING SIM!! NOT ARCADE STYLE

That would be great on a map even bigger than TDU.

It should be a Driving Simulator/racing sim.

They also need to put in some police cars you can drive yourself.

And a more realistic police. But with a more realistic police there should be a option to turn the police off.

And they should put some regular cars in it. Not only super cars like lamborghini. So you can also cruise without going 300 MPH.

And you should not only be able to drive around but also to walk around in your house, fuel thing etc.

And you must be able to clean your car in a car wash. That it also gets dirty while driving offroad etc.

And there should be also walking people around.

And ofcourse. The car sounds must be as realistic as Atari can make them.

They should also improve the Multiplayer. So you can come in a server where your friend is in without any problems or 100x trying.

Enogh ideas on this forum to make the next Test Drive a GREAT/EPIC/INSANE game.

But they really need to make it a racing sim because an arcade style game on such a BIG map would suck, right?

hi i am new to the tdu central forum and my suggestion for tdu2 if it is coming out to add more cars like Bugatti veyron Ferrari fxx, BMW m6, hummers and other suv's and supercars. more bikes like Honda, Harley davison choppers, and you should be able to custom your cars to a point. and get to roam in a wider, bigger environment like Monaco city, these are just my suggestions.

My suggestion is that TDU 2 should have more cars from 70`s, 80`s, 90`s, from all parts of the world. For example: BMW 635 CSi, BMW 850 CSi, BMW M3 E30, BMW M3 E36, Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione II, Ford Escort Cosworth, Audi Sport Quattro S1, few versions of Subaru Impreza, few versions of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, Shelby GT 500 Eleanor, 1973 Ford XB GT Falcon Coupe (from Mad Max 1 movie) and many others old but good cars.

I forgot to mention 1977 Pontiac Trans Am "Bandit" and the one from "Knight Rider"

  • 2 weeks later...

TDU, to me, needs to have less random luxury life stuff and more focus on the cars. Cars, a place to keep them (which may as well be a nice house sure) and a means to drive them. I'm sure I'm not the only one, and I may be repeating them, but I just don't see why I need to walk around anywhere otherwise I'd be anticipating the up and coming Test Walk Unlimited after someone pitches that to Atari. I plan to spend as much time as physically possible with some wheels underneath me so given the choice I'd like if they spent more time on features and content which improves that over anything else.

(for starts I deeply dislike "the sims")

But the "sims" part probably makes many things easier and might have some fun to it.

Sadly! they left out the main and MOST wanted part of it. sigh.. outdoors exploration.

Yes.. not every ones taste.. but I doubt it would be interruptive or steal much from cruises, because the ones who really want to explore by foot probably will group up, and also singleplayer might often suit better/be preferred.

Given the choice between them wasting time on those on foot aspects, I'd much rather they spend the same time improving physics, adding more roads, cars or better sounds. If there was no compromise at all, then so be it, but I doubt those just mentioned are going to come out perfect.
