  1. This is great, and I'm glad to hear actual car representation is a priority. Also for cars, I only know whats common the east coast USA, but I assume Oahu isn't much different. Anyway, a good way to see what they have for real is google maps street view, lol.
  2. Wow, someone responds they like the Saturn Sky within a minute. Wasn't expecting that. And yes, the SSR is the worst.
  3. Ah, so this is where knowing how to change the brand of a race becomes useful. You can replace the Saturn brand without making the race (and 100% completion) impossible to finish. Any brand you choose to replace it would be a huge improvement seeing that I've never once witnessed someone driving a Saturn Sky, LOL. Hope it works out okay.
  4. I agree, but Saturn Sky seems to be necessary for completing a mission I think. And my disgust towards the Efijy is less about its crappiness and more about the fact people like to use it as a cheat car for whatever reason.
  5. https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Test_Drive_Unlimited has a good amount of information easily laid out.. its clearly better than navigating a forum thread. So, I think a wiki would be useful here for guides, FAQ's, tweaks, tips, etc.
  6. What are your thoughts on the Chevy SSR? Now that's the most unpopular dud I can think of. And there's a certain Chevy I think would be a similar but much more popular replacement for it. But, maybe the SSR is necessary for the game like Saturn Sky? Anyway, I like the selection of dropped cars. Especially the Efijy. Get that shit outta here lol.
  7. I tried that (Colin McRae?) Subaru, and it seems like the best car. 10/10 handling. Sweet livery too.
  8. If you have a firewall or router, you may have to do some port forwarding. I know I had to. IIRC there is a thread here on it somewhere.. or just google how to do it in general. Here, from the readme.htm in the game's install directory:
  9. The server is a bit sketchy for me at times. If you notice people not joining your session and then map out and see player dots as yellow instead of red, then your connection with the server worsened. But for me this clears up by just rejoining the game.. although sometimes the game freezes upon rejoining and I have to reboot it. Also make sure everyones ports are forwarded properly and all that.
  10. Here's something off-topic: Funny story.. I haven't been playing much cause I've been busy, but I just remembered I had a dream last night where I found a new secret car that was hidden deep under tunes of tunes, and I was driving it for real hahaha All I remember is that it had a blue and white stripe paint job, and kind of like the old GT40 but it was a roadster with sharper modern curves I think. So, something between a Ford GT and the GT40, but a roadster, LOL.
  11. Nice, club perks. Also, is that a new paint option? Looks good.
  12. I remember it looks like an innocent kids show, and then shit starts getting real in some episodes
  13. Heres what I know about paints: If a car only has one factory paint option, it cannot be repainted back once you custom paint it. The reason is because the factory paint shops can only be accessed when there are at least 2 factory paint options available for a car. So if you want to restore the original factory paint, you need to go open TDU Modding Tools and give the car 2 factory paint colors to open up the factory paint shops. In my case, TDU Modding Tools already comes packaged with the UCP mod. Also keep in mind that adding custom factory paints will not show up online. Only paints from the default game will show online... or if you're using a mod other people use, all of its included paint options will show to anyone using that mod. But if all you want to do is add custom paints that only you can see, you can do that too.
  14. Comfy Abarth 595 (Step 2) @ Sorica The Step 2 increases the stock 32 hp to a monstrous 65 hp.. The chickens in the road.. now that's immersion. Chaos online at Transfagarasan
  15. If your fps drops, try bumper cam. I've never had a bad fps-dropping car mod give me issues in bumper cam.
  16. Reinstalled AC after a long hiatus Alfa GTA @ Peyregrosse
  17. I vote light.. it matches the new modern look; it goes with the soft edges and fonts. Anyway, I do like dark too, but the only dark themed site that I visit these days is a warez site.
  18. Hey, I can tell the redesign is better already.. great job. Especially this page: https://turboduck.net/discover/
