  1. I'm quite busy over the next 30 days (I'm currently not involved with Season 9 of my OCMB league), and that's not even considering the timezones. Weekend mornings are out for me as well. My experience here has always been Planned racing (between America/Europe/Pacific) = rubbish turnout whereas noticing a bunch of people are online in the chatbox/Steam - "hey wanna race?" has a much better turnout. Of course that's not much of a league. My best chances for online gaming are weekday nights after 7.30pm, besides Thursday, and weekend afternoons/nights. GMT +11
  2. *Reads Kens' dreams* *Cancels trip to USA*
  3. So you haven't played it yet, then  I think I've only played it twice this year. Waiting for the online bugs to be fixed and for the track creator.
  4. The only tunnels like that that I know of are the ones that take you into the midfield at race tracks. The other two main ones are full of speed cameras and so large you wouldn't hear anything special reverb-wise.
  5. Mobo = Motherboard/Mainboard but you probably Googled that by now ;)
  6. I personally would've thought HiRes is more popular among the modding community given a lot of mods are bigger files than stock and will generally increase the system requirements anyway.
  7. No, the game is crashing because files are missing or corrupt or not as otherwise expected. Reinstall to restore those files. There are no properties to change. Trying to work out which files are problematic would probably take longer than just starting from scratch. Remember if in doubt install one (or a few) mods at a time. If you install lots and the game breaks you won't know which mod did it. There are two copies of textures in the game. When you play at <=1024x1280 it loads textures from the LowRes folders, if you have the option higher, such as 1920x1080 then it loads from the HiRes folders. The fact that the game worked only at low resolutions is a strong indicator that files in the HiRes folders are bad.
  8. Sounds like you've stuffed up some textures in the HiRes folders. Reinstall the game if you don't have a backup.
  9. I checked that thread today already. Don't worry it's only the staff who get confused, everyone else should be fine. I think there was another older thread for that game earlier as well that was more successful - just can't find it. Ozz - you have to have your car/bike (or at the very least yourself) in the picture.
  10. Well done. Looks cleaner than the rest of your car though so you're gonna have to wash'n'wax it soon :)
  11. You wouldn't be able to hold still long enough I reckon (@Diablo)
  12. Hawks are known for their keen eyesight. So maybe it means you'll be getting new abilities soon: * Farsightedness * Able to walk upside-down? * Able to walk through a street? :oook: Or maybe you'll just get a hawk tattoo near your shoulder the next time you're drunk and then regret it and not be able to remove it
  13. Can't wait to see the entries - just make sure your car is in the shot :)
  14. If you were around here back when TDU1 was still thriving you'd at least remember the title of this game... I just had the idea that since then a lot more of us are now mobile with our own transport so we could try doing this again with real life photos instead of TDU1 screenshots. Concept One person picks a theme/challenge. Everyone else then has to get out there in the real world and take a photo that matches the theme but also features their car/bike/self in the photo. Rules * Photo must show/include your bike/motorbike/car. If you don't have either of these (seriously) and want to play along then you can feature one of tduck's cousins in the photo, or perhaps a large model car if you have one. * Theme/challenge must be legal (not break road rules, etc) and not put anyone in danger. * The person who posts the theme must be able to take the photo themselves. * If a week passes with no entries, the theme chooser can pick a new theme if he has taken the photo, otherwise anyone can pick a new theme. * New themes must be posted in Size 3 Bold font in this thread. Choosing a Winner This all depends on how popular this game is (how may people participate in getting photos). The way I see it there are 3 options: 1. Fast: First person who posts a matching photo automatically wins and immediately picks the new theme. 2. Classic: Person who chose the theme chooses the winner after X days. 3. Vote: Photo with the most Likes wins. I'll start off with #2 and will re-evaluate after a couple of entries. First easy theme to start us off: Road bridge Your car can be on the bridge, or the bridge can be in the background. Old pics in your album are acceptable (new rule), but ideally the challenges here should inspire you to get out there in the real world and take new pics.
  15. Just drive on every tiny road and intersection you can see even if it appears unlocked on the map. You'll have to get it eventually.
  16. So now it's heavier (no rust)?
  17. Anyone else see that and think 'patch'? :)
  18. Wouldn't the weight savings of no bonnet be offset by the aero inefficiencies created? :cheeky:
  19. I thought calster had posted a bike video with that lean angle in the preview  Been a while since I contributed to this thread so I've uploaded part of a random ride with no destination from a few weeks back. It was reeeeeeally windy that day too - so bad in fact that I've accepted YouTube's video stabilization offer.
  20. erm... quite irrational :leaves:
  21. I present to you... some variety :)
  22. All of my random polls are rubbish
  23. So uninstall the new driver and reinstall the old one
