I've tested that Saleen, and it has an issue where the side mirrors flick and may disappear. 
 
First, open ports is basically a must, if you want to have a better connection in TDU. To open port, it may change from router to router. You gotta google and search how to do in your own. Search for port forward and the name of your modem/router. 

Once you've done that, keep in mind that TDU takes a while to stablish a connection with players, sometimes more or less time, depending on many different aspects. It's an old game, in an unnoficial server, so, patience is key. 
 
Yes, Platinum has Megapack included. You don't need it, as it says the only requirement is a legal copy of TDU and nothing else. 
 
Install a VPN, create your new profile, complete the first tasks (rent, buy house, buy car, win first race, get back to house), then save, and you can unninstall the VPN.

 
Some races have cars from a class above than yours. But such races also have a higher prize.
 
It's a Seat Ibiza Cupra, and according to Seat brochures, it has a 7-speed DSG gearbox.  The 300km/h top speed is not real, as it is explained on the FAQ section, in the first post. In order to make TDU simulate a real gearbox, you must set the "top speed" as the theorical max speed the last gear could achieve if it had enough power to do so. That doesn't mean the Ibiza, which is an F class car, can do 300km/h in stock form. 
 
You should follow his video on installation too. If you're stuck in connecting to the server, use VPN, as i replied the guy above.

You're using the "Multiple Prize Car" extra DB.bnk. TDU locks prize cars to be bought just once. To make them being able to be bought more than once, you have that side effect. Tour of the Island gives you the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantique.  I recommend to use the Multiple Prize Car only when you've completed the whole game.

Hopefully should be getting the keys to my first house (one on the left) in the next week or two.

Nothing special, but I'm forever single and with my income it's the best I can do for now. Two parking spaces for the car to leak differential oil on to though, so that's nice.

But now I works with new launcher for TDU2 with checking & update game to the latest version of the game (if official patch server will be offline, I'll make the alternative patch server (mirror).

After deleting the radial.cdb file we would often create a folder with the same name (including .cdb).  This would prevent the game from creating that file again.  The file was never necessary but often caused game issues after some time.

Hello everyone, sorry if I made a late introduction, I just got a small time to do this fortunately:
I am Ztryka, 22 years old, my birthday is 1 week from this date's post, I am a passionate gamer, particularly in Open World Sandbox games, driving and racing games are absolutely my favorite! I am also an online gamer in few games, but not much love as I love games and videos about cars, I have been in Discord servers like NFS, GTA, etc.. If I ever had a dream car, it would be a '65 Lincoln Continental (I had a Hotwheel Diecast of this one, I love the suicide doors).
In real life, I am a part-time businessman in my family business (we are only 2), my job is a payment collector and assistant of my sister. I love music, any kind that is uplifting and upbeating, I enjoyed 70s disco, 80s pop, 90s and 2000s pop, R&B and dance music. I am a passionate car lover too, that's why I love to play car games, usually drives JDMs in-game. Been practicing manual later on in my gaming life.
My first contributions to Turboduck is sharing a save file for TDU as well as an ongoing mod (those who chat with me already know this hehe).

TDU1 still has a massive map if you compare it to Forza Horizon and recent Need for Speed games.  It wasn't just the size too, but the detail of numerous residential streets.  Even if we rarely drove on them, it still added to the realism.  I remember getting into a free-ride police chase in single player mode the first time I played, and thought I could lose them by driving off-road tbetween the trees, which didn't work.  I remember eventually evading them and then wondering 'where the heck am I now?'  😉

Hello all. Been lurking for ages and decided to finally make an account. Short story;
When I was a kid I bought an original Xbox at a thrift store for $25. It came with one controller and four games. Project Gotham Racing, NFS Underground 2, Midnight Club 2, and Test Drive (Called TD Overdrive: Brotherhood of Speed for everyone outside NA. . Over time I collected more games; Midnight Club 3, MC3: Dub and Remix, 4x4 Offroad, PGR2, a couple of rally games, and probably a dozen or more others. By the time the HD era arrived and the Xbox 360 came out my OG Xbox was starting to show it's age and use. I actually had to gently punch the top to get it to read games sometimes! So I had moved to PC gaming with titles like GT Legends, Colin McRae, and more. Then my childhood friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse. My $400 Fujitsu Business laptop for a lightly used Xbox 360. It came with 4 controllers, 50+ games, and the HD AV cables.
One of those many games was Test Drive Unlimited. After making a gamertag and convincing my parents that it was totally a good idea to pay for Live for me, the first game I tried was TDU. Over the years between then and now I played many games of every genre, but the only game that doesn't say The Elder Scrolls on it that I clearly remember starting it up for the first time is TDU. The graphics, the physics (remember, first X360 racing game), the sounds, and the massive for the time map. TDU is what really made me love cars. And, I made some online friends that turned into IRL friends that I still have. There has been a million racing games before and since TDU, and half of them are better racing games. But aside from NFSU2, none of them have the magic. None have had me spending hours figuring out how to make them run on a modern system.
So thanks. Thank you Turboduck for still being around all these years. Thank you Speeder and Milli for your efforts, PP and Platinum are why I found this again. Also thank you to all the great people I've met in the last month on the game. Amazing to see how far a community will go to keep a game alive when it deserves it. Okay I'm done. See you on the streets. 🏎️

All opinions are welcome but we would appreciate a more friendly tone than this.    
If someone genuinely wants to improve the experience for the community based on what others have already modded then that's great.  If someone appears to only want Internet fame then it seems that most people here will detect and resent that.  If you wish to continue discussing the topic I would suggest doing so in a new thread, so that this one is kept only for discussing TDU Platinum.

A nocd patch is not needed for the securom issue. And since the nocd patch caused other issues in the past, i'd say deactivating the compatibility for internet explorer 11 in windows 10 is the better solution.
