Don't tempt me! Already has the privacy glass!

Do it man! ;)

Also my dad told me something about the 6 when he swapped it for the MX-5 NC2 a couple years back, he said that "No car should leak oil like that"...Is this true? Or is it false? Think you should keep an eye out for it either way dude.

Well that's a bit wrong. A Mini is supposed to leak oil... It's not a true Mini if it hasn't got at least 1 leak!

Haha, everything is full, I'm a good customer at that dealer and get on well with them all, they've done a full service on it, plus it's only an ex demo car so it's never actually left the control of the boss of the dealer. Result!

Nice! I actually like this Mazda.

0-60mph in 8.4 seconds, 177bhp and 400nm of torque

But 400nm and 177bhp only do 0-60 in 8,4? Weird.

Weight :nods: Our Lexus is the same. 175hp and 400nm and 8.x to 60.

Yeah I couldn't understand that either... how heavy is your car?

Only 200 + 320 here which makes 6.5 seconds but I'm only 1.4 tonne... although there are plenty of lighter cars out there too.

Who's going to tell Baldy to take it easy on the pizzas then...?

Also depends on where in the rev range that power is there. i.e. no good having max power just before redline.

It's a diesel so you'll probably still need to change gear at least once more than you would in a petrol equivalent. Most of the power will be between 2000RPM and 4000RPM, with the revs either side of that you're wasting your time/acceleration.

I'd imagine it's probably quite/very good at accelerating away from the likes of 40MPH though which is all that matters.

Correct, it's a heavy car so the acceleration isn't as good as it could be in a lighter car, but saying that it doesn't struggle to keep up with anything I've seen on the road so far!

You're right there, it doesn't struggle at all when accelerating at 40/50/60 or 70mph, foot down and it's off like a rocket
