The interior choice is... interesting. Not to my tastes because I'm dull but I admire the boldness. Over all a very nice car, though. The amount of rear legroom is just

The colour seems to be a "love it or hate it" type of color. That color is so nice to me. I love the contrast between the black and "rust brown".

I gave mine a wash today - thought I might share a few more pics.

I had a few other cars blocking me in, so I couldn't get a better shot.

I recently installed a bluetooth system that gives me access via the radio or steering wheel buttons:

I've also added the touch-screen sat nav/30GB HDD media player system in as well now.

Nice one. The sat nav touch screen was installed recently, it must have cost a bit, yeah? Leather seats are niice!

And, ever since I've wanted a car, I've just wanted to have a simplistic set of keys. Just with the car key, and maybe the manufacturer keyring :) I know it's a hassle having two sets of keys (one for car, one for house and other stuff) but if I knock my knee or notice my keys jangling around in the car while driving it's like the ultimate let-down. I don't know why lol but I hate it (picky annoyance, I know) :p

I figured Spring was a great time of year to go cruising through forests and mountains with the sunny weekends we've had recently. As it turns out, if you drive quickly on any forest road, you end up killing 600 flying insects which get stuck to the front of your car (which is why I had to wash it today). I might have to wait until Summer until I get back into the real-life cruising.

The Golf looks great, and familiar.

My mum has one like it minus the leather, sat-nav and DSG. Oh, and it's a different colour and a diesel because she does 20,000 miles a year :p

The leather looks great, though. I remember going on a test drive in one which had leather and it made the inside of the car feel that much more special.

Hehe - I've nearly done 5,000kms in just under 2 months mostly cruising around going nowhere, and occasionally driving to work in the city :p

The leather definately makes a big difference. It's not something I would like to spend an extra $3300 on as an extra, so I'm glad the car came with it when I got it.

I have a 7spd DSG gearbox, whereas the other models have a 6spd. Besides that it's pretty similar.

Exept that gearbox probably won't live to tell about the torque of a Golf R. I bet they have to be somewhat reinforced compared to standard ones, like yours.

There is a *supposed* 250nm torque restriction on the DSG7 - however this appears not to be the case, since many tuning companies have done tests and sell the Stage 1 ECU upgrade which increases the torque from 250nm to 317nm. It also increases horsepower from around 158bhp to 203bhp - making it nearly as quick as the GTI (210bhp).

BMW 530d Nearly had an M5 but insurance was wayyy to high :(

Ye insurance is a bish on high end cars.

I testdrove one of those Golf R today. But i must say i was expecting more than i got from those 270 bhp.... And it had the 7-spd DSG which also wasn't as quick as i had imagined it to be.

Since I, for some reason, cannot find the thread I made about my 2009 Silverado, I will post the update here.

Friday, I had my new exhaust system from Flowmaster installed. It makes the sound of God! I never expected it to turn out that good. I mean it came out absolutely perfect. I couldn't be more happy with it :)

I've recently bought a 2009 Mazda 2 Sport. Quite a powerful car considering it's only a 1500cc engine. Can't be bothered listing things, so if you're interested in the technical jargon click here

Anyway enough boring stuff, pictures time!
